Now that I think about, these jergovs deserve it.
I remember the Apple and Cherry Pies were huge, Twinkies were much bigger and SuzyQ's were also larger.
Maybe it's just me but didn't us Yanks have Big sticks of gum in the Baseball Cards we used for flippers on our bikes...?
BaZooka Bubble Gum was twice as large.
This Halloween I had my usual sequence/loop of the Cathedral Organ doing the Bach spooky piece as there aren't as many kids going out so when they see a light and hear the music blaring out the front of the crib they get all worked up, and come a' running, and I felt guilty handing out these tiny Bazooka Bubble Gums, and the Candy is all this little bitty shit, half the size of my thumb, the real candy bars in the stores are really smaller too.
Maybe I just grew up quicker than I thought and didn't notice it, but anyone 40+ years of age........when we was kids we had it made. So much to do, a penny for a big Bazooka, now these poor kids get this little raggedy looking half sized piece of gum for a nickel..
Poor bastards. They'll never knew how good things use to be, so I won't say nothing.
But in hindsight, we really did live in a world that was reality that would be considered a dream these days.
So Fuck Hostess, and all of these cheap as Corporations selling this tiny ass shit....
