Chris Hein Horns Upgrade

Post by dawman »

Just in case any of yuse kids use Horn Section for Funk or Latin Dance Chris Hein Horns has all sorts of new Horns and upgrades.
I dont need all of the options so I just use CHH 2.0 + the new 53 dollar upgrade.
It's truly magnificient, no 1 handed school boy playing. Shakes and Falls are the best in the biz.
Just thought I'd share what I consider the best sound and value which usually never go hand in hand but this guy has it going on.
My whole rig is based on Orchestral stuff from Hollywood made by a Swiss guy, and everything is German made....
Maybe that's why the guys I play opposite of here in town sound the same as the guy who just packed up......

Thats cool. Was thinking about checking out Sample Logic 'FanFare' - based on the Blue Devils Marching Band, which is apparantly a pretty elite outfit demanding rigid discipline and a musical virtuosity that would make members of Frank Zappa's band tremble in terror.

This is a very gooOOd all sort of horns sounds... Easy to play with in a daw after studing the manual. All my horn sounds are from him.

His bass sounds, especially the upright one, are excellent too.
