BassSynthi

Post by roy thinnes »

hi!
a new synth, with just two oscs, two ADs, tri lfo, a dsp delay, 24dB Lp, and fx insert.
despite this thrifty equipment it has a character of it's own.
mp3
download
have fun!

I really like the concentric design of osc pots, very clever and clean for a small inteface.
cool!

Hi Roy,

Just had a listen to the mp3. Absolutely superb. Will definately try the device out tomorrow. And the Synthi style knobs look very cool too.

Thanks very much Roy, and also for the new and updated modules on the other thread.

Cheers

Tim

thanks and greaaat respect, Roy...
the little bugger is one of the best synth devices around, imho :D
no eyestrain at all, no slavish 'me too' approach, simple yet extremely versatile - I even managed to 'compose' a synth bassline with it and used midi (wtf...) :o

cheers, Tom

if a reverb is loaded as insert fx, Scope crashed when the device is removed

This thing is really great, like all your stuff :) Love these small synths, although a 2nd LFO and a few more mod options would be nice (I'm not complaining, the insert is nice for something like Interpole). I'd like to see you make a smaller, less insane version of dxCwm (maybe 4-op, but keep the waldorf option), and also a lightweight Waldorf wavetable synth.
