midi envelope

Post by JoPo »

Hi...

I'm looking for a simple midi envelope generator.. Something like a device wich generate an envelope in midi controler. It receives a midi note on and off and between, a setable envelope in controler number we choose.

I think to have seen it one's but I can't remember...

Thanks...

My dream is something like this but with key-tracking.
This could be awesome for all synths devices: the big problem of i.e. Minimax/Prrodyssey/etc. is the fact that is very very stable in pitch compared to real thing.
With a simple (?) midi envelope filter device (AD or ADSR) we could modify slightly the incoming pitch, from i.e. keyboard, to emulate the vintage instability.
With modular is actually possible, but it don't allows to export midi signal to MOD output!
4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.

Yes, I know... but 89 euros for just a module is for me too high!
(I'm not interested to the others devices of the bundle)

Hm. I'm still about to build a multiband midi-envelope-expander which would work much faster than a Multibandcompressor. So you could push certain frequency bands in your mix with midi - triggering. Should be a good idea for 'cleaning up' mixes.

Yes but there is no envelope follower in the midi tool box, is there ? If there is, what is its name ?

Up in a few minutes ... :-) (No preset handling for midi-kick-settings; only three bands, only in combination with my new (o.k. rather old, I just never posted it Multiband-Algo))
