trak 2 as front end for xite?

Any opinions if I should or need to use an apogee trak 2 as a front end for the new xite? It would be nice if the mic pres, AD/DA were of similiar quality to the trak 2 then I could sell the trak 2 and be able to almost afford the xite. Also I could keep the trak 2 and buy a scope professional card from one of you guys when you buy the xite.
