Chill Gary,

i don't think anyone here is after your gun. we debate, obviously we have strong views about this, but there's no need to think we are somehow after you :-?
Powers that be, well at the moment it's neo-liberalism, conservativism and sick greediness that are on rampage all over the world. They wield all the power, and it is them who are instruments of these powers that will in the end decide on YOUR life, even private one. If they want you to have a gun, you will have one, and if they decide to take it away from you, well don't think for a moment you will stop them with your peashooter! And if you think it will feel better to take one or two of them down with you, well be my guest. Just don't fancy yourself it will make any difference. You say it is Rotschilds and UN and some drunkards from Bohemian Grove who plot against the world, i say it's neo-cons, transnational corporations, world bank, IMF, Opus Dei, CIA and other Secret services all over the world etc, and above all it's human stupidity and greed that motivates them and also allows them to get away with the shit they pull off!!!
May all sentient beings achieve liberation from suffering :)

Mike, who do you think neo-cons, transnational corporations, world bank, IMF, Opus Dei, CIA and other Secret services all over the world are? they are none other than bilderburgers, members of one of Chatham House's orders(like CFR) or drunks at the bohemian grove, etc. you don't think gangsters nun things?

who pays for the advertisements, movies and such that make popular culture? there's the greed thing. there have been other societies that haven't had these problems, yet people are the same...do you know where the word "slave" comes from? i'm just checking because i 'm trying to fathom the level of your awareness....

i'm not worried about you taking anything of mine in particular. i hope you're well over there. i'm affirming my rights. the only soldiers i'll need to shoot with my pea shooter will be the ones with the blue helmets and the others with the all black uniforms. the rest are my brethren in this. actually, all the private guns in America are a VERY big problem for "them". if 10% stand up and fight, "they" must fall. they don't want direct confrontation. they're fine with a war of attrition, using bioweapons, chemicals, drugs and programming except that some of the more demented of them are getting old....their police and soldiers think they will be specially treated(as do the people in wealthy, safe and happy nations), but if they can beak every promise here, they will certainly do the same over there, eventually...

they are liars, drunks cheaters and possibly even not human, but they are NOT omnipotent. they are false gods. i mean this in all good humor, chill yourself.

By blue helmets, i assume you mean UN peacekeeping soldiers. According to wikipedia there is 70.000 uniformed men in all contingents over the world. How should they find a way to your door in a 250 million country is beyond me. I don't know what you mean by all black uniforms?
Slave derives from Slav- it's an European peoples linguistic and ethnic group. They were frequently captured and sold as slaves in middle ages, hence the name. BTW- i am a Slav, more precisely a Slovenian.
If you think that with all your colts and magnums you can topple the Washington regime and make US stop meddling with and exploiting the rest of the world, well get down with it, don't wait! But i am afraid it is just an illusion you'd like to keep.
So, do you think G.W. Bush is one of "them" or not?

Peace

First of all, it's 300Mil.
Second, yes GW Boosh is a puppet of 'them', but otherwise too stupid to be just one of them. His whole family is corrupt.
Third, it's not 70,000 (Wikipedia can be EDITED, so therefore very unreliable), it's the UN giving orders to local police and Blackwater types that are trying to setup a training grounds down here near the Mexican border - that is the problem - are they American's or foreign-nationals under orders?
Last, it's not our guns against the globalist tyrant's massive ammo - it's our awareness of how they could just as easily take over the US through multiple other means, which is already happening in slow motion to a good portion of the US population
It won't JUST be US citizens stopping the US government (operating under the same globalists that run your country by the way), it has to be everyone waking up and taking action all over the world.
'They' are in the minority.

btw mike-
i know that you're Slovenian :) i know the history of how groups of people were abused and manipulated, worked against each other for someone else's good. i know how people have been systematically separated from their rights for generations after genrations there, although there are some special people that have always done well. i also know that those peasants were always forbidden weapons because the lords feared that with weapons, it would be too dangerous to push them around. things have not changed. "peace keepers" demand that you disarm. the "peace" they have in mind is not always the same "peace" that you have in mind, which should be clear to a slave(once again, with respect. we are arguing, not fighting, brother)....

i don't need to fight washington. i just need them to follow the document that their power flows though. their behavior is illegal. the illegal laws do not need to be followed. the FIRST people to be charged and sentenced for crimes should be the one's perpetrating such fraud. without foriegn troops or the UN, without private mercenary armies, the people's power is sufficient to clean up the mess, reasonably. unfortunately they are not following the rules of the game that they set up.

Ok, 300 mil.
sorry i misunderestimated population of USA.
I don't understand what difference does it make 70,000 or 75,000 whatever...
Commanding chain goes back to each units country Chief commander. So it's Italian chief commander for Italian unit, French chief for French etc. And the units are deployed in crisis areas if there is a consensus in Security council where America can veto anything. So, what would they be doing in US? If US government is but an instrument of "their's" why would they need a dozen of Nepali's, Dutch and a Russian with automatic rifles in a couple of armored transporters to wander aimlessly through States looking for someone to appease? I mean US has the mightiest army in the world, so if they are with you there's nothing to worry about, and if they want to rein in terror on US citizens then they sure don't need few thousand blue helmets to do job... I still don't know what Gary meant by "black uniforms" though.
Anyway, we do need to stand against global exploitation, poverty, dark ignorance and cynicism of the ruling politics- all over the world.
Do we need guns for it? No sir. We need education, social awareness, ecological awareness, respect for different cultures and above all love and compassion.

Peace

storm troops don't care about education.

there is no united states. there is no slovenia. there is no russia. there are no arabs. there is only ATT and ITT and standard oil of new york.*

i can understand your distaste for fighting. i don't want to fight anyone either. the fact is that UN troops on US soil is the sign of a putsch. the black uniforms are the one's that do things, believe me. if you don't know who they are, you're not paying attention. the real wars are fought by corporate armies. national armies are the support troops. no where is this more true than iraq, afghanistan and the balkans. black uniforms are common here too. take those guns first!

see, you just want me to stop talking. it's passive aggressive censoring. it's the kind of agument my wife makes when she stops arguing a point and starts arguing personality.

history says i'll be proven right(which is terrible), i don't need you to agree to feel ok. it's fine with me if you disagree, continue to try and discredit me personally, or man up and speak to me as a freind and fellow z'er. i hope that i'm completely wrong, but i know i'm not. not completely, anyway....

look at you, talking about the loop like you're better than that. you've enjoyed this thread plenty!

Easiest way is to give gary a and Greg their gun.
This isnecessary for their mental stability.

All the others take a back seat and admit that they are domesticated sheeps that deny knowledge of the superior.
This will very likely stop the dominance seeking responses.

Since thoughts are free the whole mankind has its freedom to make up its mind about the psychosocial and historical factors that made some US citizens paranoid.
Incorrect. I don't need a gun for mental stability. Just need a stable Scope system . The supposed US paranoia is not US only. It's everywhere - there lurking under the surface.

Don't try putting your beliefs in my brain.

I DO like your smilies though. :)

um, no.

that figure includes suicides which were the vast majority of those deaths. nearly half of the rest were gang on gang crime. there's no reason to think that a significant portion of those suicides and gang murders wouldn't have happened without guns. about 1 in 17 of those deaths were police, which also may have or may not have happened with a citizen ban on guns. let's say there were 15,000 wrongful or accidental deaths without suicides and law enforcement contributions. government statistics say that guns are used for self defense about 1.5 million times(most times brandishing the weapon alone was enough to end the conflict and it's estimated that the actual number was much higher since most people prefer to not tell the police in these situations) in 2004, so it's safe to say that guns saved many more times the number of lives as taken....

it's unfortunate that the USA is so violent, but it WAS a colonial settlement, settled through violence and the slavery of poor europeans, africans and asians. natives were suppressed. of course, we're all sorta mixed together now, and so there's a lot of tension, especially since the colonial masters have started taking back their presents lately...

of course, europe and other places' histories aren't any better. most are tales of slavery and bloodshed, rapes and gore. and of course, it's tempting to blame all this on people, since people are participating in this thing. but the trouble is really the thing itself. it's the great work, the work of the builders that is making the mess. people are just born into the system and they do their best to do what seems to be right for them to do.

in a world like that, full of weaponry, some will take up arms and this is an appropriate response. it's not the only appropriate response, it's not always the best response, but it's sometimes reality. taking up arms doesn't mean going around getting into fights. that's romace, a lie. it's a stupid idea. never the less, the boy scouts' motto is "be prepared".

39,400 was the last figure I could find.

This statistic comes from the justice department. They like to track these things!

What makes you think it is wrong? Where do you get your facts? If you want to challenge me then tell me why. Don't just type a bunch of random crap.

Because the Justice Dept. wants to justify disarmament, then the numbers are skewed when compared to crime-tracking organizations and other so-called liberal groups such as Amnesty International.

also, a sampling of other organizations fighting for 'the other side' of the issue:
http://www.gunowners.org/skeptic.htm
http://www.keepandbeararms.com/

ANd I'll keep posting 'random crap' here like everybody else, who would rather just attack what I say rather than do the research themselves - as you have done - just make note of the source.

More kids die from drowning in swimming pools, than who die from a gun.

So whatever, - noone wlll convince me that guns are wrong, nor that I don't have rights to own one.

Deaths are a matter of public record. I haven't heard of any fabrications by the Justice Department. If they are making these numbers up, they would be found out rather quickly by legitimate news organizations.

I'm starting to understand how the gun lobby gets so much funding. There is a lot of insanity I guess.
