I read that enabling Physical Addressing Extension might be of some help.

I don't know anything about this. Can someone light my lantern about PAE?

I tried enabling PAE and I got very bad results, audio crackling and midi stuttering....Maybe Pulsar doesn't like PAE enabled?

no. I tried it with just the 1 Gig I have.

Maybe if I add another 1 gig stick?..
