Problem with tracks using Scope FX on Cubase audio mixdown

I am using the Scope 4.0 platform in XTC mode with Cubase SX 2.2.0. I am using the Scope effects on audio tracks within the Cubase project, and it sounds great.

Once I perform an audio Mixdown to *.mp3 (at 320Kb, 44.1KHz Stereo) any tracks that use the Scope effects sound very distorted (in fact, unlistenable) whereas any tracks that do not use the Scope effects sound fine. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Cheers.

you can't use the Export function of Cubase while running ASIO tracks through Scope.
Just record realtime the whole mix back on a Cubase audio track

then convert to mp3 by exporting as mp3 or converter program
