Help! Pulsar II Plus + winxp sp2 FREEZE! HELP!!!!

I use a Pulsar II plus with XP sp 2- and it works fine. Single CPU though (P4 with Hyperthreading on) Don't know about whether it works with Dual Core - have you tried setting affinity to one Core only?

You didn't say if you had sp2 on windows

core2 works very well indeed.

i'll bet you either have a shared irq or active sensing in your keyboard controller or both.

to check the irq, go to start/programs/accessories/system tools/system information/hardware resources/conflicts-sharing and see if the scope card is there, and if it is, what it is sharing with....

to check for active sensing, in the routing window, go to the midi menu and get a midi monitor. connect it to the pulsar midi source and open it. if you see a string of active sensing messages, turn active sensing off in the controller. if you can't turn it off, go to the midi menu, get a midi filter, and put it in between the pulsar midi source and the sequncer midi dest.

got three cards = 9 dps sitting on my new asus p5b bearing intel core duo 2 and xp home edition, no problems here works like a charm, Scope's running smooth as never before, I can load more than 10 masterverb pro without pci limit message, tho I've never experienced it, it only prompts that I'm out of dsp :)
