i845 chipset?

Someone recently told me that this chipset was the fastest to date (something about RAMBUS RAM?). As I don't know anything about this stuff I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on the subject.

i845 uses SDRAM for the P4, so you can keep your old RAM + get a 2 GHz+ CPU (intel). That's it.
Maybe look for Asus P4B mobo. (3 GB RAM!)

P.S. i845 is planned to support DDR-SDRAM next year.

It will be very fast. This one's OC'ed to 3.6GHz!!
