A very hot videocard!!! Help!

Today is appeared a little problem: the GeForce 6200 videocard runs REALLY hot... after 6-8 hours of continue work I cannot hold my finger over the passive heatsink!!!
This PCIe video card seems always to be ok, but the heat pass directly to the near SCOPE card... and that's not good.
I've tryed to mount a 8x8 silent fan, but it's not really silent and the overall noise raises exponentially.
My PC is a Carillon pro Audio, and this system is created to be very quiet.
- An active heatsink with fan over the videocard makes a lot of noises.
- A fan near the audio cards + videocard makes noises.
- The PC case is planned to be enclosed and silent...
How is possible to solve my problem?
Why not exist PCIe videocards without GPU that not are hot as Hell????
I really not need 128MB + GeForce GPU... I hate videogames!!!
I wish a very quiet and very cold, simple 2 or 4 MB videocard PCIe.
Anyone know a model/brand for it?

first of all; if your heatsink is hot it is doing its job, which is to lead heat away from your processor. If it actually was cold you should be really concened, as your graphics processor probarly was totally unstable 
now,

i recommend a PAPST silent fan with a speed controller on the back of your machine. the bigger the better.

The system is rock stable in 4 days (average 10-12 run hours) never one freeze, spontaneus reset or blue screen.
My only doubt is about the heat over Scope DSP card.
Maybe the Scope cards are built for 65°C or more, like the Hard Disks... who knows.
All works ok, but I wish to avoid the future DSP failure or crack!!!

The Carillon PCs are planned from factory to be very quiet and, sincerely, in average, hot inside... maybe this vicard is too performant for this barebone.
I hope for Matrox solution...
ps. does anyone know if ATI are in average less hot than GeForce? This because the actual new Carillon mounts inside ATI 128Mb dual head passive graphic cards.

If the GPU heatsink is copper you could dissipate the heat out to the back of the box by having 3 or 4 small copper tubes soldered to the heatsinks' back facing edge. On the other end they could be soldered to a thin copper plate which is attached to the outside of your case. Pretty extreme, but it could be done in a tidy manner so as not to look bad. The small copper tubes would obviously draw the heat along their length & out to the copper plate at the back of the case. Heat likes to move if invited properly

But in my vicard only alluminium heatsink...
Today I had a new idea: to place a thin thermal isolator between the video card and the SCOPE. The material comes from a old Freezer-bag gained in Supermarket.
The heat must, is this manner, stay on the vicard side.

Now i will try.

I cannot downclock or overclock, the test ever fail.
Anyway the Card proprieties says that my GPU runs at 63°C and the warning level is 145°C.
At this point I suppose that this heat is into average and not dangerous for my system.
After 10 hours of run, the CPU temp is stable at 52°C, the MoBo at 49°C and the GPU at 63°C.
My preoccupation is maybe exagerate...

The Analog Devices PDF says that the Creamware DSP works until 100°C!!!

Wow! Perfect to cook a coup of tea at 5 pm!

no shocking numbers there, everythig is fine. the only thing that might be a bit hight is the system temp (or "mobo"). then again, as allready said, without an exhaust fan you shouldnt be suprised. and never mind shielding the audio card from the gfx card as the system temp is this high anyways.

Now my system runs only with CPU fan (Arctic Cooler Freezer 64 pro) and PSU's Carillon quiet fan.
Results after 8-10 hours run:
- CPU temp: 53°C
- System temp (MoBo): 51°C
- GeForce GPU temp: 74°C (warning treshold is 145°C)
In these days I will try with the Zalman 7700 Al-Cu CPU heatsink instead Arctic Cooler, this because Zalman is radial instead horizontal.

All without any case exsaust air fan!!!
