I finally got my Scope project card working as a dedicated dsp card along with another soundcard (well, just about...) I'm running audio from Cubase SX to my Tascam firewire interface ASIO drivers and using Scope plugins like in XTC mode. All I did was install the defeater plug on the board and detach the IO plate out. Next, I selected "no I/O" on the I/O Enabler utility. Without even reinstalling the software I ran Cubase and it asked me for some cdkeys for some of the third party plugins I have and that was it! I haven't tried all the plugins yet but there are some quirks though. Minimax gives you an error warning when you first start it but once you click ok it's all good. My Profit 5 on the other hand does not seem to work. It keeps on giving error messages. Other than these two synths my Protone, Prodyssey, Vectron and a few other synths and fx that I tried seemed to work with no problems. I'm almost there. Now, if I could only get Profit 5 to work...

Hey Man-Machine,
There's something similar on my drive too, but this comes with a default install AFAIK: C:SFPAppIOEnablerIOEnabler.exe - is this the 'defeater key' you're talking about? Or is that some registration key?
Cheers,
at0m.

Ah, I didn't know that... cheers!
For my SRB there was this dummy backplate, screwed on near the edge. Swapped it round when I changed IO to the SRB from the other deck, keeps the cards from drooping
Anyone happen to have seen one available somewhere?
