I recently got reason 2.5 as a gift, and Im wondering if it will work in XTC mode with my pulsar. Anyone have this combo working. That would be something incredible Thanks

Rewire and PDC is a mess. PDC, Plugin Delay Compensation, works by playing back the actual track a little earlier so the delay caused by the plugin downstream is not noticeable. Now, take Rewire, Reason spitting out 16 channels in SX for example. Reason has no idea what plugins you use in SX, how much delay will be on every bus, and how much it has to anticipate. So, all correction has to be done in SX. I'm not sure there is PDC on Rewire busses, but if so: instead of playing back one track a little earlier to anticipate for the delay, it should force /all/ of Reason to play earlier. Imagine the buffering going on in the VST mixer to correct all that... If it works, it would eat loads of memory and CPU. Gives you a new perspective on XTC as a means to 'accelerate' your PC power eh. 'Drain' would be more appropriate IMHO
I don't think there will be PDC on Rewire, since both client and host have a common clock, so the latency induced would be no problem on pads and non-time critical stuff. Solution: program drums for Reason in SX, offset the MIDI tracks manually to compensate for the (XTC) delayed channels. Fun fun - at least if you care about the timing of the Rewire drums.
Good luck
