With S|C I have learned to become patient. ;)
I haven't even downloaded Scope 5 RC, and I'm still running scope 4.5
When the official scope 5 will be released, then I'll make the jump. But I don't see it coming for another 2 months, but that's just a feeling based on nothing :P

I don't expect Scope 5 soon.

Right now it's vacation season in Germany, SC needs to relax a bit themselves :)

I think that SC released Scope 5 RC because they could see that they wouldn't be able to finish it soon, so to buy time and get the peace to work on Scope 5 and do it right they decided to give us the release candidate. This move also gave them a good group of beta testers to help them out with finding bugs.

All in all a very sympathetic move if you ask me - I'm in no rush, all though a few words about the process would be nice, as always :)

Maybe around Christmas if we are lucky - hohoho :)

It would have been more appropriate to call it a bêta more than a release candidate but hey!
That's just a pike and you probably explained exactly why IMHO they made the right move in giving us an occasion to test it.

By the way, the post activity here on Z is significantly reduced since the last couple of weeks. Especially in the Announcement an General Scope Discussion forums. What could be the reason of that, if there is any?

SOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN!!!!
I'm starting to admit these guys are talking a whole lot of time to come through with scope 5 uncompromised and portable ready though xite1, I mean what's its use on a desktop... c'mon SC, surprise us now. yeah I know, they are hard at work but... soon just won't be good enough for me if those guys continue to uncover their roadmap the way they are doing it now. I wish them all the luck though because I believe in their product, no hard feelings and everything, only deception driving this post.

unpatiently yours

At least the R/C is rock solid here. They coulda released a f*d up crash-heavy version, but so far this RC is doing great.

It's Summer, and we're all out having fun with Scope5/Xite.
(or just trying to stay out of the heat)

The one thing i want fixed is the annoying 'save project' prompt when you exit (pops up even after you save the project and want to exit). S|C please dont treat me like an idiot...
