When I was in my senior year in college I had to do an essay on a composer of choice. Naturally, they were into classical and Schoenberg but I did mine on Frank Zappa. The class loved it. The Professor never heard of him. I did some cuts from "Freak-Out", "The Grand Wazoo" and he was incredulous. He never heard anything like it but started comparing parts to other composers and analyzing the music. I got an A+. :D

Man, Myth, and Superb Musician.

The foxy ladies loved it. I was gigging a lot and had a nice apartment overlooking the park in NYC, king-size bed, brand new BMW, mind-altering accouterments, 'nuff said. 8)

Right on brotha’ man Ronnie.
Berkeley @ Boston does entire Zappa Orchestrations that are fantastic, great players too.
