Midi Filter Router v4

Post by mausmuso »

Hi There,
I have (again) updated the Midi FilRout to v4.
This time I have added two display panels to directly monitor midi data coming in and/or going out.
The panels display small or large (I hope large is large enough??).
When Midi Out ports are displayed they indicate if:
  • 1 or more midi Channels are filtered out - Note information has a 'RED' background (have to open the filter panel to see which channels are out);
    - Control Change is filtered out (Cntrl information has an 'Orange' background); and/or
    - Program Change is filtered out (Prog information has a 'Yellow' background).
.
I hope it all makes sense.

Hi,
sorry for my slightly offtopic question.
Is it possible to show the BPM of the midiclock with this tool ? Is this tool in combination with an other ?

Excellent ! Thanks a lot !!

Just one thing... In the display 1 & 2 windows, the small/large display change only the size of numbers frame, not the entire window which remains the same.

Yes I noticed that from JV's screenshot.
I will check that, although it seems to work ok for me

Maus; this has now replaced v3 in my startup project. Thanks for your continued work on this.

one very tiny thing i noted: when you open filter panel 2 and select "Active sensing" it also activates the "All" system button as well.

Just figured out something odd.
I added MFilt to my project and had to re do my snapshots.
Became frustrated and figured I would start from scratch then redo 50 snapshots.
I couldn’t load PRJ Preset List.
Took out MIDI Filter, same problem.

Then remembered I added Avast Premier w/ Booster + VPN.

Uninstalled it and voila, back to happiness.

Strange that a AntiVirus app wouldn’t allow PRJ Preset List.

Really like V4.
When creating snapshots w/ PRJ Preset List if you make the slightest mistake it remembers it.
You really have to have everything exactly the way you want before storing a Preset.

Thanks again Mau, really nice device, and it’s oretty too.

I just installed AVAST on my new office machine.
It might recognize "PRJ Preset List" as a PUP (potential unwanted program) or such.
Already in common settings you should be able to exclude single files, apps etc. from scans and protection-module´s detection routines.

I´m using the free version and I guess what´s possible there should be possible in your pro version as well or even better.
Also think about if you really need all of the AVAST´s features.
You can skip many during installation process.
Reading "booster" makes me dizzy ...

:)

Yeah it’s got ignore and put to sleep functions but the file neve shows up.
I’m going to really install AVAST after the gig this weekend.
Probably doesn’t notice it until you try and load it into the project window.
