Hi gents, I've bought my Luna 2496 box almost 3 years ago. All the 8 VU-leds of the 8 in/outputs work just normal and the sound is perfect. But the power led on the box has never lit up. Am I the only one with the power led which is not functioning? cheers, Darce _________________ <font size=-1>[ Th...

I know what you mean, But can you simply compare a tubesound (which adds something extra and which is a pleasant sound indeed) with trying to get the best fidelity at the end of your recording chain ? (96k) I think if people want to have that tubesound, they should use a tube for that extra edge on ...

@ wayne oops! Mine too! I'm embarrased.... When I read the sts-3000 manual before I ever used a STS sampler, It said that it only can handle up to 16-bits, but I never checked it before myself, my bad... But anyway, the pdf manual is wrong about that. Thanks anyway, wayne! @ cleanblue...

So what diference is more significant? 24-bits @ 44.1 kHz, (only increase the bitdepth)or 16-bits @ 96kHz (only increase the samplerate). If you increase both settings it will apearently sound better for sure, but the problem is that 24/96 wil use about 3.3 times more DSP in comparision to 16/44.1, ...

I haven't installed an earlier version than 3.1c I'm not using old devices or projects either, they all suppose to work in the het 3.1c version. But I'm going to update to SFP 4.0 anyway, and hope that the problem will be gone... @ dj_yaron: I hope that you can work out the problem as well with your...

That's someting I want to know as well, because it happens let's say 1 out of 10 times when I boot up my computer. At such moment the allkeys.skf key is asked. When I enter the key file, then the booting will continue just like normal, and I still have SFP 3.1c. It's not a serious problem, but very ...

@ pseudojazzer: It's good that you mention the fact that I first could try to timestretch in my sequencer. Right now I'm doing quite the same but I'm using Cool edit pro to edit (stretch or pitch shift) samples and save the edited sample as a new file. The only problem with this method is, that it w...

Thanks for all your replies and advices! The thing is, right now I'm still using SFP 3.1c and I think I'm one of the few users who still uses sts3000. And I know, I'm quite a bit late with upgrading to SFP 4.0, but I'm about to do it. So I believe I still have the 50% discount on any plugin I buy wh...

Hi guys, I still only have a Pulsar 2 card at the moment and I am planning to expand with an additional card in the future. That's because with most of my projects, I have to use my devices wisely to avoid running out of DSP power too soon. Untill now I always used the STS3000. I'm planning to buy t...
