Re: BC Modular v0.975b Now Available - 30 New Modules (08/03
year to year ...will bigger and bigger :D Apologies for the longer than usual break in development since BC Modular v0.98b . The next update (v0.99b) is coming along nicely, but I still need to finish off a number of modules before it'll be ready. When it's finally released at some time around Q3-Q...

Re: Midi modules
It's worth pointing out here that modules within a modular patch and insert FX within Mixers etc. are usually using the host device for CC assignments so won't be adding any extra load on this front. For the sake of avoiding any confusion, 'host' in this context means 'parent' Scope device as oppos...

Re: Midi modules
Midi filter is light, but modules which generate midi lfo like there is in Wolf midibox are much more dsp hungry, no ? In Scope there's a DSP atom which is used to handle MIDI CCs in devices. This atom uses quite a lot of (much more than average) DSP memory. Here on my 3xDSP card, I can only load 1...

Re: Midi modules
Most MIDI modules use very little DSP in terms of cycles. You can fit more than 350x MIDI Filter modules on a single DSP. Usage of DSP memory is more of an issue with some MIDI modules - Not the MIDI Filter though. For example the module used to handle MIDI CC assignments in devices will use up all ...

Re: ScopeSync public launch!
Okay, so for example, I have this beautiful modular 3 patch set up, I want to use Scope Sync to automate the filter cutoff in my DAW, how do I go about doing that? I know how to set up the cutoff filter on the scope sync VST, no problem there. My problem is understanding how to do it on the scope s...

Re: ScopeSync public launch!

Re: ScopeSync public launch!
Thanks to everyone for their enthusiastic response. It's been a huge but very rewarding task to get to this stage of development. We're only just at the starting line though. What the project really needs to succeed is for the Scope community to simply give it a spin and let us know your thoughts or...

Re: BC Modular v0.98b Now Available
As the installer put the modules in Scope PCI I just moved the contents of BC to my Existing Scope XITE BC Modular folder. Is there a problem doing it this way? The only problem with manually moving any of the modules after installation is that the uninstaller will skip them when it's used. Other t...

Re: BC Modular v0.98b Now Available
There appears to be a small issue with the default path in the installer for the modular modules. So long as you browse to the correct path for your Scope modular modules it should install the modules as intended inside a 'BC' folder. However, when using the default path the installer creates the 'B...

Rane Mojo MH4 with Ultrasone HFI-2000 still going strong 10 years later
The MH4 was an absolute bargain at about £30 off ebay. The second hand price on these seems to have stayed reasonable.

Re: Stereo modules
...I'd recommend placing all modules for your stereo signal path within one (or more if required) 1DSP CLM modules.
These will force those modules to load on the same DSP and avoid any unwanted phase issues

Re: Stereo modules
It's also worth remembering the control sockets in BC Modular handle both input and output, so you can make a connection between them on two (or more) modules for a master <-> slave control relationship. This way for a stereo pair you usually only need the two modules as you can assign MIDI CCs to t...

Re: Standalone Mod IV simulator program
I've been giving this some thought and I can't see any way that an actual Scope modular patch could be built on a non-Scope powered system ...At least not by an SDK developer. I can think of a potential solution, but AFAIK it could only be implemented by S|C in a platform update. If you've ever run ...

No probs with sharing the HostStats dll... go ahead (I'd share it myself, but I think you're using the version that Simon compiled )! Fixed that for you  I can't take any credit for the HostStats module other than as a tester / consultant. There have been a number of developers involved in ge...
