Re: ADAT to Scope PCI to Xite ADAT

the root question of this topic—how much latency does ADAT add? A few samples... The old planetz Pulsar pages have a chart, and test procedure that lead to that chart. tl;dr: it was 9 samples in the test. This probably changed with hardware upgrades, so if anyone's interested to update for later DS...

Re: Phasefix & Phasefix X

Don't make the patch too big! And some will complain "only x% DSP load and cards are full, keep getting Reload! Reload! messages".

Btw, where's that shell? :D

Not since you decided to "upgrade" to 64bits OS, it doesn't indeed. Never has.

Re: Phasefix & Phasefix X

tip: once you have these set up perfectly in your project, don't close it until you're finished because there will be changes in latency between devices when you reopen it. I have no idea why or how this happens [...] tl;dr: This is inherent to Scope: There's buffers between DSP chips, in the order...

Re: lost ADAT connection

Hi borg, valis. Thanks for your tips. I got some stuff out the rack, closer to the DAW so shorted Mutec(-style) cables could do the run, removing the Sssnake ADAT's, and It Works(TM). Now both on ADAT and Wordclock sync. So definitely the cables. I notice 2 problems with the Sssnake ADAT cables: the...

Re: lost ADAT connection

Hi, Firstly, a little from experience on optical cables and my setup. My hardware is 3 DSP cards (same IO daughterboard connectors there) and then for convertors 3 ADA8000, an ADA8200 and MusicNet/Sonorus DA24 and AD24. Getting my ADAT cables from thomann these days, and I found their Sssnake ADAT r...

Re: Pulsar Midi not found in Cubase

I remember in old windows/Cubase, there was a hack to make them appear - don’t know if that’s still the case. That "hack" actually removes native or emulated DirectMusic MIDI ports, duplicate drivers, from Cubase's Devices, so the better option is all that remains. More on Steiny and Wind...

Re: Pulsar Midi not found in Cubase

Before running cubase Scope must be running and the sequences midi modules included in the project window. If you add any new midi sequencer modules after you have runned cubase you have to restart cubase to make them available. At least in WinXP, Scope project has to contain exactly the amount of ...

Bowen started long (decennia!) before that. but yea, he did bring the modular to Creamware back in the early days, too. What a move.

Spielraum,

Do these load ok? Or ask for extra .dsp files or so?

Have fun :)

Re: Scope 7

Scope 7 purchase link is dead.. how do i get an unlocked scope 7?? Hey Brian, I see you're on a roll, looking to expanding your DSP farm.. maybe one of the cards you get comes with Scope 7, then there's no need to buy an extra license.. So maybe hold back a bit, and see what comes with the cards on...

This card is still available for sale, and indeed it has no IO board.

So for anyone looking for a power-up for any existing Scope DSP farm, or for an XTC card, this is one :)

I hear someone's making great progress on making a tool to convert Kontakt <= 5 to soundfonts. That means you'll be able to load them in STS and such :>
Will post a link when I see a release.

will the STM mixer send out a snapshot of the fader that are allocated a Midi CC, so the 03D faders will jump to the correct faillures upon loading a project (or STM preset for that matter)? Hi, STM like any Scope device sends out MIDI CC# for every assigned and changed value. On preset change, tha...

Does this need a key? Never seen it at SC shop? Yes, it does need a key. Could have tried that quick :) Indeed S|C isn't selling it for whatever reason, and don't offer a download either. Also, it's the old style device, which would save different versions of the whole device that includes preset l...

i got a newer version of Synchrotron. 1.3.1c, twice even: The one with hamburg audio in the file name has preset list that stores voices with each preset, while the other one does not. Yet both are labelled same version. Weird. Anyways, maybe these work for you? synchrotron.zip https://i.imgur.com/W...
