The winterspecials are still there on the SC site...
Either the webmaster extended his holiday, or due to succes they like to generate some extra sales this way (which happens most of the winter-/summersales anyway )

Nah, we all understood it was a joke (at least I did), but we just want to respond to it. Hence the smilies

I'm rather thinking of the headaches I got creating programs and auditioning samples with the STS-X000.Shroomz~> wrote:I was thinking that a virtual Akai sampler would be awsome. Think of the possibilities!!!

Re: Another thread about summing in scope
I would have assumed that using the 32 bit float drivers would not result in any conversion with most DAW's though? You're right, at 32 bit float there should be no audible differences, as there are no bits being truncated. But somehow scope's ASIO drivers don't "translate" scope audio to...

Re: good news , Xite-1 is out !!!!
Ah, the Happy New Year bluster! I'm still holding out for NAMM - why put NAMM adverts up on there site otherwise?!?! The company's still going strong - which is a feat of some merit with its product release history and especially during these unsettling times. All this is positive news. Maybe chang...

Re: Another thread about summing in scope
yes, and I read something similar in some thread here. It was mentioned that the problem could be that scope's asio drivers, including the 24bit ones, aren't the best at converting audio to another platform through ASIO. I never have tested if the same happens when routing the ASIO channels from a s...

Re: Another thread about summing in scope
[...] I think my big curiosity now is the ASIO degradation factor. I did a quick search here but did not seem to find any threads on it. I could have easily missed it though. Is there anyone that can give a link to some info? This is something I really want to know too. Untill now, I always recorde...

Re: SC- give us an update -please!
To be fair, I'm only curious about the improvements and new features in scope 5.0 and not really about the vista driver. In fact I just bought myself another XP license last week. XP is still just fine for me. But that's just me

Re: S pdif cable for 3 dsp card
Well, those crackles in the sound could be a clocking problem. If you send a spdif signal out of your scope card, then set your card as master.
If you use the spdif output from an external synth or module into your scope card, you have to set the card as slave.

Re: Purple Heart
Well I was referring to oldschool because of the used "oldschool" Amen break and some other classic drumloops out of the funk era. That sounds quite typical. But as I said, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that IMO, I still like the chopped up offbeat patterns, avoiding that 4 to the ...

Re: How to rename ADAT modules...is it possible in any way??
Hi all Is it possible to rename the ADAT modules? Since they identify (in my actual setup) the inputs and outputs of more than one piece of hardware (such as MOTU 2408mkIII, MOTU 828mkII, YAMAHA 01V, PRESONUS DIGIMAX LT etc etc...) it would be very useful to have the modules labeled with their spec...
