Re: Creamware Pulsar 1 Help/Support/Install files needed

You'll want Scope 5.1, but GaryB should be correct that 4.x changed the keys.

Feel free to confirm yourself if you wish:
Scope 4.0

Scope 4.5

Re: Creamware Pulsar 1 Help/Support/Install files needed

I have 4.0 & 4.5 (Mac & PC) archived here, but you will still need keys. Sonic|Core doesn't (last I checked) have them on their ftp.

Re: Win 10 Pro update KB5034441 (Windows RE update) fails with ERROR 0x80070643

No because you need to tag this partition with a specific GUID when making it, and the commands aren’t hard as given. Just make sure you don’t have two recovery partitions or it may still fail due to the smaller one.

Re: Win 10 Pro update KB5034441 (Windows RE update) fails with ERROR 0x80070643

Worked on both machines here. Take careful note, I had to remove ALL existing recovery partitions and create one new one that was at least 1280MB (1.2GB) in size before it worked. The image MS has tagged for download is too large once expanded for their pre-existing recovery partitions, they screwed...

Win 10 Pro update KB5034441 (Windows RE update) fails with ERROR 0x80070643

I am moving this to the Tech Support forum and updating your title for your forum post to make this easy to identify for everyone, here's the relevant information. The update that is failing is: KB5034441: Windows Recovery Environment update for Windows 10, version 21H2 and 22H2: January 9, 2024 Thi...

Win 10 Pro update KB5034441 (Windows RE update) fails with ERROR 0x80070643

I had this on my win10 computers, there’s an update for the windows encryption layer that downloads a virtual image that doesn’t fit within your Windows Recovery partitions size (which is typically 512MB or ~812MB, depending on which version of Win10 was the starting point for that PC). I’ll post th...

Re: Reamp with Xite (solutions)

He's correct. Line inputs are 10K *at best*, and typically much much lower to account for consumer garbage (ie, onboard soundcards where the 'difference' is made up in the hardware codec implementation--ie, Realtek or Azalia etc--corrective DSP is applied to the signal before being delivered as PCM ...

Re: DAW Win 10 64 new installation, GLITCHES!

In this case, it's still recommended to limit TURBO states to the ones that include all cores rather than the higher TDP ones that focus on 1-2 cores, as was mentioned previously (or in another thread, I forget). I do this in the BIOS/EFI. However I do NOT eliminate any sleep states, as the Operatin...

Re: Reamp with Xite (solutions)

A passive DI box is also an acceptable re-amp device, and has other uses in the studio as well. When recording, you use the DI box as normal. To use it like like a re-amp box, you connect the DI box in reverse. Only passive DI boxes can be connected in reverse. The Radial JDI Passive DI Box can be a...

Re: DAW Win 10 64 new installation, GLITCHES!

As I mentioned, with modern OSes and CPU’s, the only thing I do is toggle the power profile to high performance before owning Scope. I can fully load all 26 DSPs across 3 cards with 100% stability. 2015 era quad core Xeon

I'm on iPads here, though I do have 3-4 Fire tablets. Give me the min processor/GPU and I'll check the Android version that the FireOSes are built on and see if I can help.

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE

Yes, for people who do mixing of mostly pre-recorded audio and thus a lot of (less cpu intensive than VSTi) insert effects, more cores may be better than faster cores. For people who prefer high end virtual instruments that do advanced synthesis (uHe for instance) algorithms and lots of circuit mode...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE

Disabling HPET in BIOS/EFI is the correct way, that would change the driver in Driver Manager as it switches everything to RTC (realtime clock) which is less interrupts/lower precision. Note this fix works simply reduces the number of calls that badly coded drivers make, and mostly applies to hardwa...
