Scope pci or xite have midi in, so I guess the easiest way is to find a working interface.

Ended up getting a spare XITE PSU and PCI card - figure those will be the bits that may die, so a long-term investment to keep XITE going into my retirement.

And so, I got one from SC and everything works as expected. For those who might wonder, it is 12V5A, not 3.33. Oh and it came with a sticker and a SC pen
