Re: Strange difference between Adat A and B (2nd gen)
The setup was the most simple one: Adat ports to DynamicMixer, PhaseFix in the source path, mixer to monitor. On the target side there was just the DAW sending back unprocessed. I only watched the main output, but your hint triggers the idea of insterting a couple of Channels to have meters on input...

Re: Weird Panning Problem
So the position of the Big Knob is on the Motu‘s analog outputs and it receives from Scope via Adat. (if I understood correctly) You can check the Big Knob by adressing the Motu directly as output of an audio app. (which probably succeeds, as it‘s a plain analog device...) Next step would be to trac...

Re: Weird Panning Problem
Which Big Knob and at which position ?
(I assume the passive one, because Studio and Studio+ are USB)

Strange difference between Adat A and B (2nd gen)
Took me a while to re-activate my Win7 license, but finally it‘s a fresh install with as few additions as possible to have a lean Scope system. While connecting gear to the Adat ports I noticed a strange performance of the Pulsar 2: port A no problem, but when adding something to port B, occasional ...

Re: Got a new midi controller keybord, period!
That’s a smart solution to use a small keyboard to get the dials back 8) Not that I intended it, but I had a Casio VZ-8M in the attic for a decade. Bought because it was cheap and had support for their midi guitar and sax, but then NEVER used it... until a couple of days ago :D (turned out much more...

Re: Wish for new atom (osc)
I only remember that back in the days there was a special (very expensive) license to get access to the tools to create custom atoms. Warp69 once complained he was stuck in his development because things couldn‘t be resolved by the existing ones.

Re: will this spring reverb work as an aux (impedance/RCA)
Hi Mehdi... I just „inserted“ the Cube 40 into the my current io-setup by a Digidesign 882/20 as send/return. Send into the anp’s guitar input, a stereo splitter into the headphone out (to silence the speaker), 1 line back into the 882/20, reverb dial full on. The amp is rather crisp by nature, but ...

Re: will this spring reverb work as an aux (impedance/RCA)
For me the link above doesn‘t work, so I can‘t comment on that item. Spring tanks need a driving amp for the initial coil (basically a single channel headphone amp) and a preamp/buffer for the receiving coil. A sensitive line input may do, but this depends on model. A cheap (not too bulky) alternati...

Re: M-AUDIO KEYRIG 49 failing parts
Yes, a classic joystick would do, but you have to check that pots are inside, not switches. It would even operate both wheels simultaneously, you could have 1 or both directions spring loaded. (similar to the Roland design) The Synclavier Knob was in fact for real and a huge thing when they showed i...

Re: M-AUDIO KEYRIG 49 failing parts
Oops, I just noticed the sales link above reads „out of stock“. Whatever, the exact same pots may be difficult to find, but you could extend the ribbon (by 2 3-wire lines) to regular pots (according to Bud‘s explanation) and mount them externally. The spring loading mechanic is probably reusable for...

Re: M-AUDIO KEYRIG 49 failing parts
That price is fair for parts and a full assembly, but dunno shipping...
Otherwise you need tools to unsolder/solder and get the properly sized pots, which are industrial parts and may be difficult to source in single quantity.

It was the only simple solution that popped up without knowing your system in detail
In fact it‘s likely you can avoid the feedback scenario by some different routing.

Re: Native Plugins from Polyverse music are on sale until tomorrow!
The filter has excellent standard midi control: note value, velocity, aftertouch, pitchbend, modwheel can be assigned (and scaled) to practically all controls. Of course Midi learn for CC is also available.
Can be played like an instrument, even arpeggios don‘t confuse it.

Re: Creamware A16 Ultra - No Sync, not even in 'master'
Here‘s an initial clue: „no lights from Adat out“ means it cannot be clock master anymore, as it doesn‘t send. Might be as simple as to exchange the TOSLink sender. You can unsolder one from an old/damaged soundcard, hifi device, PC board, whatever. (It‘s rare, but I‘ve experienced dead transmitters...
