Re: Velocity Switched Lead Axe
Unfortunately I missed the last few classes where some of those modules were explained, so hopefully the videos will surface and I can pick up where I left off. Ooops. Same here... The girls just happened to get in my way of the Chimney as I took pictures...... What mansion are you talking ab...

Re: Xite @ 96kHz: some questions...
MoJo's circuit makes use of the inherent delay caused by specific samplerate. This is the reason why the 44.1 version sounds different at 96kHz Wishes for discovering new sound frontiers? That's a point :D it is more clever to begin to use higher bitdepth in your daw, it will upgrade your sound alr...

Re: Xite @ 96kHz: some questions...
Agree with Gary Only things I know about that are sampling at this frequency, are hardware devices. But I never had the opp. to compare for instance, ancient series of a Nord Lead 2 and current Nord Lead 2X so it's hard to say it has a significant interest. Plus the fact it's necessarily a D/A chang...

There also are DAS Reverb Bundle and update RMX160, now optimized and fully working with 96KHz. Not tested but Eric reported he has tested it.

Help: how to get hard spatialization on a NL2 with Scope
Hi all,
question is in the topic:
What could I use to get a hard moving spatialization on a 2x stereo out from a NL2x in Scope?
I Think bx2 is a way but maybe also some reverb on the incoming signal. I'm quite lost in translation with this one.
All help is welcome

Re: 5.1 Beta + Modular IV
There has been an upgrade for Mod IV under Xite? Coolness!
Sorry Will, I can't help you with 64bit.
ooops, it seems I should have watched before writing anything. Sorry, there is no new Mod IV release. V4.0.1721 - dec 2009.

Re: anybody use EMU 0404 usb?
Hi guys,
4 USB I can't be of any help but regarding Firewire, you'll also find these, from TC:
http://www.tcelectronic.com/audiointerfaces.asp
I own the Konnekt since 2008 and I am quite happy with it, even if I find its routing capabilities quite limited (compared to Xite, it's a Lapalissade).

Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!
Wouldn't it be possible that a well-thought env. follower modular thinga could do the job?

Hi Spacef,
Exactly! That would indeed void the need for 64bitz OSes for most of us, thanks to microraver

Re: SCOPE 5.1
That's an interesting post, thank you. But it seems to allow your OS to be aware of more present RAM and in no case to allow programs to use more than their limit of addressable memory per process, even if the system is aware they could. Until you make some test to show us a 4 GB memory use for one ...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Let me just add that it's not because you see 8 GB in your 7's task manager that the OS is able to use it.
This is a question of being able to address such memory ranges, with 32bit.

Re: SCOPE 5.1
what attachment are you talking about? Windows server 2008 trick? Do you mean some 2008 server R2 "trick" (which is necessarily 64bit by the way)? Sorry, it's been stated so many time as not being possible and you might have to give some proof of 4->xx GB used in full charge in your 32bit ...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Good to know! Thanks guys. But for me, it's time to do my part of field testing now, as I'm a bit stuck in the same situation than Soundesigner is. My os is badly in need of an upgrade after years of good services.

Re: 64bit Testing
The infamous PCI bus load... I don't have the figures at hand, but the new DSPs probably have enough local memory to handle every existing reverb plugin internally. If more Ram is needed (for whatever purpose) it doesn't have to be requested from the host OS (and hardware) anymore - a big step imo....
