Re: The 80’s rule.

Live mixes have improved with technology, as Ive taken to those to boost my classic rock collection.

For example Pink Floyd's 'Pulse' from 1995 is mind blowing, get that and replace 1/2 of your Floyd CD collection. Aussie late 80's band 'NoiseWorks' did a live concert in 2008 at local Crown Palms ...

Re: The 80’s rule.

One of the few albums I like from this century Duran Duran’s Astronaut had Nile’s production chops all over it. So there’s that. My first trip to Greece was 2024, was great to finally see Europe incl Italy, France and Croatia- good times indeed. My first proper keyboard was the DX7 in 1983, but I ...

The 80’s rule.

At home we have our Google radio locked into Gold Fm 104.3 FM. 24x7. It plays 80’s music. There’s no station dedicated to the 90’s. Beyond that into this century it’s open slather. The only reason we hear contemporary stuff is when reality singing show ‘The Voice’ does it annually season. Note in ...

Re: What is Joana ?

I’ll predict there won’t be any carry over bugs from Scope coz it won’t be Sharc based. I’ll be extremely surprised if theres any more R&D/invest spend on those - other than 1 last scope software update - perhaps.

Re: What is Joana ?

Holger asked what we would want it to be. My answer is something for the future.

Whose future,- your´s, his, mine ?

:)

Bud

Everyone. Mainly Holger's but I don't see any reason to exclude anyone when we don't even know what it is

e.g. if it was a PA transmitter, Id probably ...

Re: Feedback in Modular - recursion without delays

From memory Thomas from DAS Ghost made a 1 sample delay thingy.

This component isnt for Modular however, so Im not sure if one exists. Look here for Spelrium's feedback module for modular.

Re: Mixbus 32C

Thanks. I'm not 100% happy with the Gilmour Ping Pongs sitting over the top. Needs more work. Love the bass though, not bad for a freeby that got thrown in with either Amplitube or Orange Tree Evolution Rock Standard guitar (cant remember which)

When you have a motherboard supporting TB4.
None of my machines does
:)

Mine does and all future machines will. Wouldn’t be without it these days. Also, what’s to say Joana won’t be Mac compatible ? Getting into that market wouldn’t be a bad thing for S|C

Re: New DDR4/m.2 motheboard with PCI slot?

Not by fluke (although I guess it could happen), but I wouldn't start to imagine it unless Holger specifically includes it in Scope for v8 and tests around it, pushes out the release date for the R&D, advertises it as a feature and factors it into the price of the upgrade :D

But anyway this is a ...

Re: Mixbus 32C

Harrison is da bomb for classic rock, even though the Floyd were hybrid analog/digital in '87 (basically Gilmour in his houseboat with his 24 track digital recorder and a bunch of musical luminaries). The drop bass was a challenge till I found a VST that could add 2 more lower strings ! No more ...
