I didn't like mp3 even at 320kb/s (tried win-gogo for the coding)
that must be a really bad encoder, normally 320kbs are enough to reach cd quality (to most ears even 256kbs are enough)

to your first question:
go to settings - sound and audio devices
then under the tab "audio" change the standard devices to pulsar.

i'm not sure what you mean in your second question.. but maybe all these questionmarks confused me

maybe they got rid of some redundant algorithms. also some algorithms can be replaced with far more efficient ones (i.e. to calculate the sum of the numbers 1-100 you can 1.: 1+2+..99+100 2.: 0.5n(n+1) where n=100 where the second solving way uses far less cpu power) it's not always obvious at the f...

i was wondering if the sum of the letter-numbers of dxl and late are the same, but it's only 40:38
BUT: if you multiply the numbers and round to two digits, then you get the same result (1.2*10³) is it really just a coincidence?

you forgot to mention that many of the free devices are just appetizer or intros for the commercial ones and that's not called "sharing" but "PR" if i would practice developing devices, i would release them here for free, too - this way i get betatesters for free. so dont ...

because the only reaction to this thread was "this is too much work". i thought it is no problem if some people measure 1-2 plugins but i was obviously wrong.
it surprises me that i receive so many reactions after i said i keep the site private.. nobody loses anything

that's why the link is now only available for the people who helped and some friends.

yaaa, i launched the site and it seems to work so far. about 70% of the standard plugins are listed, also some 3rd-party stuff (thanks to the ones who helped  )
ok, it's not really interesting but.. it's my first website  and it looks pretty

i am collecting the dsp-loads of the plugins (not only creamware stuff but also freebees and commercial plugs; about synths: 1st voice and each additional voice) and will present them on a website. the list on planetz seems a bit outdated. does anyone wants to help making a complete list here?

another way to show how silly it is to compare mhz: take a gamebenchmark with a p4 1600mhz + geforce 4 (300mhz) = 1900mhz now the same benchmark with a p4 2000mhz + tnt (90mhz) = 2090 in dxl's view the second pc would be faster.. (to compare flops is the same silly thing, because flops are me...

better would be to tell what problem is bothering you, so you can get a workaround.
just a release date for a new patch wouldn't help you now
