You are right, it wasn't the cset.ini but it wasn't the cable either. My 3rd board is broken in the STDM bus IN section but works in the bus OUT section. So I exchanged the 1st with the 3rd board an now it works solid

I changed to a new PC with my 3 Pulsar II boards.
The device manager shows all 3 boards ok, but when I connect my 3rd board with the STDM-cable I get a message that there is no cable or I get DSP errors.
My cset.ini has no entry like numboards and board ID.
Can you exactly tell me the right settings ...

Why not just connect by a MIDI cable from MIDI Dest to MIDI Source?

All I wanted to say: it's definitively a CW board problem an not installation, RAM, Mobo or so. My both broken board were manufactured at the same time. The 3rd one ia one year younger.

3 ears ago I got the same strange messages after 4 weeks. CW changed the board and this one worked fine for 1 year. Then the same message came back (in another PC!). CW changed this board again and now is seems to be ok.

Thanks to the forum that gave me the hint, that the "Unexpected DSP overload" with SFP in slave mode is a cable problem. I used special 75 Ohms cable with no success. Now I changed it by a TOS-Link (connected to Creative X-FI on another PC) and all problems are gone

Purchased P-100 yesterday and got the download link and aktivation key today within 24 hours!

Now one question: Why the dry/wet mix slider is allways at the maximum in all presets? The best results you get anywhere in between!

It's a problem with your download manager!

My three PulsarII work in slot 1-2-AUDIGY-free-5 with SFP 4.02 drivers! Slot 2 is shared with Gigabit LAN. No problems so far.

It's just a hint:
I've got my 3rd Pulsar II (Scope FX) today including a CD with a separate folder "Scope FX 4.02". Inside a driver folder with new drivers from 2002! Are they really new?

I've P4P800 too and one Pulsar II in slot 1 and another in slot 5 (same IRQs). I'm planing to buy a Scope FX. Which slot do you recommend?
