I installed pulsar version 3 then updated to 3.01. After both restarts I got the two following message boxes:

1) "Hardware version 30 detected. This hardware requires a software update. Please consult the installation guide."

2)Could not gain access to the creamware hardware!.

What does this mean ...

And don't care either....

The DMA is already set but this doesn't help too much. If cubase has to process any audio itself it clicks and those clicks are rerouted into the recording. I'm looking for a fix/workaround but that would allow me to record while playing back the whole piece.

I really need to be able to do this ...

Well pulsar has always had bugs.. I bought pulsar II, 2.01 had bugs and I bitched about it, 2.04 had bugs and I bitched about it and now 3 has bugs and I'm STILL bitching about it. BUT if it weren't for CreamWare and their great platform, and IT IS a great platform I wouldn't be making music today ...

I installed V3 using the key from my old keylog (I hope that's OK - It worked fine I think).

Then I wanted to start a new modular 2 but found there was no empty modular module. I naturally copied one from the old mod2 folder to the new one, that worked too.

The question is : how come mod2 in V3 ...

How come when I have 40-50% cpu usage (cubase 5 r-whatever, PIII gig), and a nice stack of audio tracks in cubase. Then I'd want to record audio played back from a pulsar synth rerouted into cubase, the system doesn't cut it and I get pops and clicks which are obviously also recorded into the new ...

How does one enable "multirecord" in the first place??

Twice under two different installations of windows pulsar v3, cubase etc.. I couldn't save projects that had inserts it kept popping a message saying "no value left of "." " or something of the sort then "can't save module.... remove ALL the inserts, it saves.

Anyone know why that is or how to ...

What's an 8*8 empty modular module???

Did some one post the Virus emu somewhere else and didn't tell us?
