having the same problem myself .. it has nothing to do with power managment.
i have disabled it from the bios and on the setting and still have the problem.
its only accured in win xp.
still no one know how to fix it.

go to http://www.cdxtract.com/
you have to purchase it or if you already have it.
then you simply read the akai cd and when you convert it please convert to sts pulsar,
you'll find it there.

I'm having the same problem myself..
using win xp.
the solution i've found is using cd xtract, and convert the files to sts and keep it on my hard drive.

This is new at pulsar 3 version
but I did not see any use to it
When I try to activate it I got the "cant find the corresponding hardware" massage.
Is it mean we can connect the digital mixer to pulsar via optical instead of the regular sp-dif connectors?

everybody is talking about it and admire it
but call me crazy i still preferre the waves true verb.
maybe i still don't know how to work with it
i cant get the color im looking for vocals
maybe we can share some presets i still have to spand many time learning it....

the truth is that i have already checked it out
it convert all exept giga...
the manufacture says it is for respect the giga developer

to get the propack- activationkeys, please send us a copy of your invoice,
so that we can see,
when you have bought it.
Also write the hardwareserialnumber on the invoice and ask for the
propackkeys.

i just recently purchased the pulsar
i dont know what number the put and where
couse there r 2 fields to fill in...
i was told that the upgrade to the pro version is free..
how can i make it work???

where the hell is it came from?
everything in the pro pack needs an activation key...
i really dont know what it is
where do i find this number??
