Hello,

I just had a similar problem...I'm not sure if it's exactly the same, but I'll post what I did in case it helps.

When I loaded Logic with SFP in the background, it kept telling me that it was unable to load Creamware Midi Driver 2 (or something to that effect).

Using some of the info I'd ...

Ah, I see I posted the same message twice. Beautiful.

I also wanted to mention that I'm not one of those old sentimental types looking for that perfect vintage software emulation of my theremin. Although I am a huge fan of Creamware, I have to say that most of their softsynth offerings over the ...

actually, it's the original plastic synth--using a slightly modified version of the vel filter2 or vel filter9 preset, with some of the sub oscillator pushing in for grit, run through a couple of vst effects. Note that it's the same synth from the beginning until the end of the vocal section, with ...

I think that anyone that's been a user of Creamwares' products for any significant amount of time can attest to the contributions that Wavelength has provided for all of us sonically. If you haven't taken the time to check out his devices, I highly recommend it.

I'm going to post a section of a ...

Hey,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems. This just another guess, but I'd try hitting Control-Alt-Delete when cubase starts to bog down--there may be some nefarious programs running in the background that you don't know about. There'll be a list of every program running. I'd say that you'd ...

Stephen,

I can't offer too much in the way of a technical commentary on what makes "Plastic" so great...but maybe you can translate some of my layman babble and make good use of it.

The first thing that appealed to me with the plastic was the incredibly aggressive lead sounds that it makes ...

Just wanted to say "thanks" for taking the time to clarify the situation. Speaking for myself, I will continue to support CW for as long as they are able to maintain the standards that we have all had the fortune to enjoy.

Hey all,

I think I've come up with a workaround. I've been using Neutron's Dub-a-Duck, and it works just fine. As a matter of fact, it imparts a level of control that I probably wouldn't have been able to get with a Square-Wave gate-type effect. Kudos to his great work as well.

Greetings,

Let me first thank Mr. Hummel for allowing us the opportunity to test out his awesome devices. He truly is a genius at his craft...and I wholeheartedly believe that Creamware (and all of us) should dump a load of cash on him for his work.

Here's my problem: I can't seem to get the ...

Maybe this will help:

Go into Global mode, hit the "menu" button, select Page 1, and change the MIDI Clock to External MIDI.

I just did it myself, so I don't know if it will work or not...
