i am desperatly trying to control one of the Pulsar Mixers with one of my Midi-controllers.
Everything is fine with the faders but i haven't found a way to control the buttons on the Pulsar Mixers.
My controllers only send static controller values (or simple Note numbers) on their buttons ...

Hi,

sure you can use wheels and stuff to mute channels but then you have to use the mouse all the time to click on the channel you want to mute and you can't mute more than one channel at a time.
The problem is that with Pulsar you always need two different Ctrl values for the two states mute ...

The problem with every Pulsar Mixer is their poor Midi implementation. Ever tried to control as much knobs and buttons as possible...
You will soon end up having no midi controllers left to assign.
Thats why i use the Cubase Mixer for everything (even if i got a little bit of latency). I can ...

That's not what i mean.
I also use the Cubase Mixer as my main Mixer and route all the analog/digital inputs straight to an ASIo dest module into Cubase. But when playing external stuff together with VSt-Instruments you have a delay. I adjust this delay in the Audio System with the Midi to Audio ...

how do you adjust the latency between the asio Inputs and VST Instruments? I assume you use a midi/audio delay, which settings ?

Try turning off "Multi Record Active" then you just record the track that you have selected in the arrange. The negative side is that then, all the Audio Channels disarm themselves automatically so you have to arm them again in this mode.

I just received my copy from the Messe.
Only one limitation (no Program Pool) and no CPU issues. Didn't test very much but seems to work quite well.
