Re: scopers on AI ?
I am spending some time with AI. I have experimented with pattern recognition with a cnn network. I am currently developing a speech recognition algorithm. Have done some study and pre-work in natural language processing, read the "understanding natural language" (1972) by Terry Winograd I...

Re: DAWman / Jimmy
Very sad news. I knew Jimmy for so many years. I have designed a number of devices for him.
What is going on? JoPo, kensuguro, now Jimmy. I am speechless. Goodbye Jimmy. RIP.

Re: output-per-voice Poly shell
nope. It is not difficult to make. It is a midi voice allocation algo that outputs midi notes to different channels according to voice activated. There is also an envelope that measures time that should be set with same times like the envelope on the synth engines that controls the vca, so to proper...

Re: output-per-voice Poly shell
for scope as far as I know there isn't any. I have programmed one as a vst plug (voice to midi channel).

Re: Modular pads in SDK7
If i remember there were problematic. I haven't checked at sdk 7 but the problem existed before it. If I remember you do it without being able to look it but will work ok after you load it in the modular.

Re: Xite with Usb connector
To avoid a BSOD with Scope if ASIO crashes:
i. DO NOT PRESS OK when the "This application has crashed window" appears
ii. Close Scope.
iii. Open Scope.
iv. Reclose Scope/ reopen it.
v. Now you can press ok on the "This application has crashed window"...

Re: Xite with Usb connector
-------- Ok, now if my "interface" can record 100 channels and your "non-just-interface-but-whole-computer" can record 40 channels and pass around here and there 60 signals, then both are the same. From the perspective of data transfers there is no difference, we can abstract bot...

Re: Xite with Usb connector
ok i thought you said it can't work. If you say it won't happen its a different thing and i have no problem. Neither I care too much about such change because i use xite now. but perhaps in the future something changes I meant you can't be explicit about it if you are not aware of the exact limitati...

Re: Xite with Usb connector
USB is a very good protocol that forces standarization. It is also cheaper

And you can read here that the USb and thunderbolt protocols have merged

Re: Xite with Usb connector
I would vote for USB 3. I read that USB 3.2 is capable of 20Gbps which is half the speed of thunderbolt 3. Considering the compatibility and also concerned about standarization which USB protocol is build to provide I think USB would be a better choice.
Re: MidChordr
You are very kind. Thanks. reminder: There are two types of async modules some of them share the same name like "and", "add" etc. The ones that are located in the sdk "circuit design" folders are computed on the CPU of the system. Use these only for display /device pane...
