My PC configuration is:

1) Hard disk with XP 32
2) Hard disk with Win 7 64

when installing 5.1 on Win 7 will 4.5 still available on XP or upgrading is something firmware related so could have trouble with old software?

Maybe Asio4all? Anyway I need 5.1 for other reasons too like increasing RAM that's not possibile on XP 32 bit...
Do you know if MAS in Motu's Digital Performer let setting different audio devices under Win7?

Many thanks. I use now 3 optical ins/outs of the 2 cards connected to a Tascam MX2424 and after the DA section to an analog mixer. Friend of mine made me a gift of another MX plus the Lightbridge. I have an Intel DP35DP based PC running 2 x Pulsar II 6 dsp on XP 32 bit; the first card I bought had a 3.1 software the second was sold to me as a 5.0 version but I only found a 4.5 software on old seller' s DVD, so actually they run well togheter with STDM cables and 4.5.

Yeah there are plastic sheets, I' ll try and add another good fan for air circulation as also my first Pulsar was a little too much hot...Thanks once again! :wink:


sure, lots of people have used that motherboard for 2 and 3 cards.
there should be a nylon/plastic shield on the part of the card ...

2 x Pulsar II Classic on Intel DP35DP pci slots

Hi guys,
is there a way to install 2 Pulsar II Classic on 2 adjacent PCI slots? Seems there is no enough headroom to do as the down side smaller board (screwed on the larger one and placed on first PCI slot ) touches the upper side of the second in the other slot. Someone here was succesful doing it ...

1. sure. you can use v4.5. only one card needs keys.

2. you could, but i think that would be more trouble than it's worth.
with a very few exceptions, projects from mearlier versions of Scope should open just fine in v5.1. you can't have ...

Hi folks,
I' m new here, would post these questions, all suggestions will be appreciate:
1) can I run 2 Pulsar II Classic boards togheter (I have all old keys but one is 3.1c software - other 4.5) connecting them thru STDM cable, under XP without new activation keys?
2) updating to new win7 drivers ...
