Re: PCI-Master-Abort at nearly max. load of DSP Meter

Oh dear... The new card suddenly shows "NA" in IRQ list at boot up and the card is disappeared from Windows System Control and of course from Scope "Registry"... After several reboots the card appears with an IRQ, but after opening some projects Scope says "A communication e...

PCI-Master-Abort at nearly max. load of DSP Meter

Hi, there! I got a second 15 DSP card. Now I have 36 DSPs. I tested the whole system with 12 instances of Modular2 "Industrial loop". At nearly full bar on DSP meter (well is quite a lot!) I often got "PCI-Master-Abort"... I use Gigabyte GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R Board with 4GB and W...

Re: Cool PCIe graphic card?

Well, the Nvidia NVS 290 takes just 30 Watt, but it runs also at 60+ C°. So this passive graphic card produce enough heat too... ;( So I finally use a DisplayPort-DVI-adapter (@jksuperstar :)) on my Nvidia FX1800 (with fan). Its the coolest solution for me.

Cool PCIe graphic card?

Hey, there! I'm still searching for a "new" old PCIe graphic card with two DVI outs. It have to be quiet, cool and Win7 proof. Don't mind active or passive... At the moment I use WinXP, and don't want to change soon, but who knows. This is my board: GIGABYTE_GA-EP45-UD3R http://www.gigabyt...

Re: Masterverb Test Thread

Hey, there! So there is my final destination for a new Scope system: GIGABYTE_GA-EP45-UD3R. It supports up to 8GB, so I'm able to move to Windows 64Bit sooner or later. 1)Motherboard, CPU and RAM GIGABYTE_GA-EP45-UD3R, Intel Core2Quad Q6600 / 95W, 4GB (PC2-6400) @ WinXP SP3 2)CWA cards installed and...

Re: How to manage a gap between PCI slots

Fine! So I'll try it. One of my STDM cables is very short (just for 3x PCIs in the row), but since I unfortunately have just one Scope (instead of two in the past) I do not need five STDM cables to match. Also heard about experimenting with fewer numbers of cables on STDM bus with better results... ...

How to manage a gap between PCI slots

Hey, there! It seems, that I need a new motherboard soon. I have already one there with 3x PCI slots, BUT in between two PCi slots is an PCI-Express x8 slot... It is a problem? Actually I have 3x Creamware cards 1x Scope and 2x Pulsar2. My STDM-Bus cables are long enough... Hm... [PCI] - [PCI] - [PC...

Hey, there!

May you, sonovox or Eanna can post here the link to the IDC connector. I just can find something like that:

But this is the wrong one...

Re: Sonic Core's big 4 for 1 software items sale

Just played a bit with ProTone Spacy Arp Preset from Krischker. This one preset is alone a reason for the upgrade. )) Have ProTone already, but will buy the upgrade for my last SFP4.x Pulsar2 card.

Yes, I'm also scary about the consequences... It works at the software site, so there is no premise for hardware failure, I think.

Re: How to test Zlink without Zlink-IO-boxes?

Should it works like this? Or I'm going to fire up the firewire like Z-Link interface with a bypass? Note: The floppy power connector on the Z-Link/ADAT plate is not connected at the time.
