This is an old thread, but I guess that doesn't matter. I have 1 Noah EX which I use a lot. I mainly for its huge, weird stereo pads which work perfectly along with analogue mono sounds. That machine really added something special to my sound and I'm very happy I found this gem

And the output level is also as it should be!

Ah, so you found something in the manual that I failed to. Good to know that it's +4. What I found was that those inputs are made to accommodate both -10 and +4 inputs by adjusting the level with up to +22db.
I guess everything is normal then... but how about the volume knob by the "phones" jack ...

Low volume from analog outputs
Hey guys,
I finally have sound from my Noah EX! :)
However, the sound output level is very low so I am hoping that you can help me figure out why.
Example 1:
- I have the Minimax loaded with the default "A True Classic".
- The level of the Minimax and the Mix fader are both set to 100 ...

The good news are that the NOAH Ex works.
Just grab the serial number and send an e-mail to SC.
Did you achieve similar test with similar results with the other 2 units ?

Right now, I have a Noah EX hooked up to an old Windows XP laptop via USB. I have installed the Noah Remote Software and I can control parameters on the Noah from within the software.

What you are saying seems likely. The guy at the shop is really not used to handling this kind of equipment and has never done business with Creamware, so my guess is that he never got it to work.

What preset have you selected? Is it a name on the screen. I guess you have also checked midi channel 1-16?
