Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited
Yeah, I already looked at the website, but couldn't really see anything doing the distributed network stuff. I thought that was what all the hype in the first post was about, so was wondering what happened.

Re: Fanless PC...without liquid cooling
I use a PSU which has a fan which only goes on when over a certain temperature (so is always off really), and have fanless heat sinks for the graphics card and CPU. Basically no fans run in my PC, but I have some temperature controlled fans as a backup, which kick in when the temp gets over a certai...

Re: JANUARY 10th, 2012 - REVOLUTION DAY!
Okidoki I got the Zarg bundle. I had a couple of the synths already, but it was worth it just to finally get my hands on the Solaris and Pro-Wave. Now we just need the Xite prices chopped to make it a real revolution! Did you receive your Zarg license(s) from S|C already? or any other confirmation ...

Re: JANUARY 10th, 2012 - REVOLUTION DAY!
What are the real world revolutionairy changes to expect as old Scope owners/users ? Unusable cards and have to buy all hardware new ? No offense, but I want to know before buying anything as blow out before all changes. It's already revolutionary that my 14 year old Pulsar 1 card is still fully su...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
And Im looking forward to the day where SC announce that the Pulsar, Pulsar2, Scope and Scope2 are legacy products and will therefor not receive any new updates. Any company in the world has to earn money to survive, innovate and create. And let us be honest - there're EXTREMELY few on this forum t...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
again, lost in my rant is that it is NOT JUST THE DRIVER at stake. the WHOLE program must be rewritten for EVERY new os. that is the delay. a program that literally NO ONE else in the business can write, must be rewritten. it's a big job and for the most part it's for free. people should stop being...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
Gary, I agree with most of what you said, as I have said it myself. Only the other week I was recommended Xite to a friend and saying how fantastic it was Sonic Core are still releasing updated software for the PCI cards. However you need to take into account that Sonic Core set user expectations wh...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
SCOPE is a very complex platform and Sonic Core is coding for two different hardware types. There is SDK, Solaris and other things that add up and keep them with a huge workload. Do try to see things from their point of view aswell. I'm hoping S|C grow larger as a company soon so more work can get ...

so you're an IT project manager and specialist in low level coding and interface technology to judge ? if not: just shut the f*** off bigger companies with 7-figure budgets have had longer delays on much simpler stuff... you know... we're talking realtime here, you just can't hide the flaws behind ...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
Well, it doesnt need to be revolutionary, but I would like to use more than 4GB of RAM in my PC, whether it be for music apps or other applications, and I need Windows 64 bit for that.astroman wrote:eh, sorry to sound a bit flat on this one, but 64 bit isn't any revolution at all...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
64bit will be big problem for next 1 year or more.... stay in 32bit. Well, it's not like we have a choice, do we ... the 64 bit revolution has yet to begin for us Scope owners. There's not even a beta despite the promises we were given. Well to be fair to Sonic Core, they didnt promise it, they jus...

Re: Do Scope or XITE run on 64 bit XP/Vista/Win7?
Thanks guys,
I am now up and running on my new Windows 7 install. 32bit will have to do for now. 64 bit I really need for my non-music stuff.
OK off to go and stick my Pulsars in and install some Scope software
