My 2 laptops both have the latest MS updates installed and there was no need to remove.
And,- all my Win10 Pro x64 machines are "Win10Privacy" tweaked.
No MIDI issues so far ...
BUT,- when I launched my laptop #1 next day after the latest MS update, the RME Babyface´s ASIO driver didn´t work anymore ...

That's what I mean when I say MIDI Keyboard device.

Will do more troubleshooting with MIDI-OX later.


Ooops,- no MIDI data from Scope v7 virtual MIDI keyboard in MIDI monitor ?
I guess that´s a software problem,- no?

But, I use that device on my 32Bit Win7 HP Server running Scope v7,- PCI in ...

Anyone have any good troubleshooting tips for MIDI issues in Scope (with Xite-1)? I'm using Scope 7 on Win 10 32bit and MIDI is playing up for some reason.

Initially connecting a Roland PCR800 and new Launch Control XL3 via USB into a CME H4MIDI and then forwarding to Scope Xite-1 MIDI hardware ...

6-pole is important,- not 1934a or b as also not iLink,- just only 1394 (like agy mentioned above).

For "superclock" (x256) I kept the Nuendo Timelock Pro, which is also a very good "tape synchronizer" when a reel-to-reel tape recorder is master and a/the audio card is slave.
It also spits out MIDI timecode and variable sample rate related to tape wow and flutter etc..

Using RME RayDat and XITE-1 (Scope v7 latest build),- I prefer using AES/EBU as sync source/destination,- regardless which is master or slave.
It works for both: RME = master/ XITE-1= slave or vice versa.
Then,- I use Z-Link for A16U (= slave always).
When Z-Link doesn´t work properly w/ XITE-1 and ...

Just because you had bad luck w/ 1 potential buyer, that doesn´t mean all are a##holes here.

So, you didn´t sell and shipped up to now ?

just an update:

I´m currently running Scope/Xite v7 (latest build) on my Lenovo W540 (Intel i7 quad 2.5GHz, 32GB RAM) w/ great satisfaction,
Latest Reaper is installed too and OS is Win10 Pro x64.
To my surprise and because it´s rare for laptops,- XITE-1 PCIexpresscard 34 get´s it´s individual IRQ ...

I just booted my scope7 pci machine. Phase comp is visible on micromixer and dynamicmixer.
I never noticed, that there are differences in devices between pci and xite.


Same here.
Using XITE-1 and only occasionally powering up the 32Bit SCOPE v7 PCI system,- I also never noticed "Phase Comp" on ...

I´d use 2496 BUS outputs and connect to ASIO destination.
To connect, drag SCOPE´s virtual cables, source to destination channels.
Look into the SCOPE v5 manual in case you forgot HOW to drag cables in SCOPE environment.

When you want to record into Vdat,- forget it when using SCOPE 64Bit and Win10 ...

Analog outputs into mixer/amp.
ADAT out into D/A converter for more outputs, or directly into ADAT in of DAW soundcard (p.ex. SCOPE PCI, RME etc.)

44.1K is good enough for most ...
