Ok, help me out on this one,... Is it my marginal sense of humor, my just basic knowledge of the english language or am I just missing the point of this thread?

To Sub: when you mention 'load a MV' do you only load, or do you connect them as well? Is there a (PCI-usage-)difference in connecting all MV-inputs to the same audio-src and leave the MV-outputs open? What if you mix down the outputs. How about putting the MV's in cascade ('elephant-mode')? Imho ...

My setup is based on the same board, except without the raid-controller: TH7-II I didn't choose the RAID version because it uses PCI bandwidth and you don't want that with Pulsars in your system. My setup: TH7-II, P4/1.7, Bios <a href="http://fae.abit.com.tw/eng/download/bios/dlbios.php?name=TH7-II ...

Hi Paul, Out of my own experience I can definitely recommend 4 things to do to get win98 up, running AND stable, provided you use a separate win98 for your DAW: 1. run 98lite Pro (you'll have to buy it first) to reinstall win98 and leave out everything but the bare necessities. In case you need more ...

Guess I had more or less the same problem of (intermittent) noise (800Hz? can be..) I then also had an SB-Live card with EMU APS drivers next to my Pulsar2. Ananlog out of the CDROM was connected to one of the inputs of the SBLive, which caused this noise to appear on most of my audio-streams. Disk ...

Well, about large projects, I intend to use the DSP power mainly for Modular2 and perhaps an additional synth. I just wonder if 2 luna2's and a pulsar2 will interconnect with just one stdm cable, while pulsar2 has 2 stdm connectors. I will probably start off with 2 Luna2's (cheaper than one pulsar2 ...

Thanks for the good replies, I just got all my questions answered. As a result some more questions came up: SPDif: if the slaving is only possible to one spdif interface, what will happen when I add one additional Luna? Will I be able to use both spdifs? (especially the inputs) STDM bus: When the ...

You're right, it is absolutely possible to construct those kind of cables yourself. But, do you have any experience in how long this cable can be. I don't prefer to place the boards in adjacent slots because of air flow and because of hardware-interrupt-sharing on some slots. So I would like for ...

Hello all, I consider buying CW stuff. As this forum seems to be the place where all CW'ers gather, I have a few questions that you might be able/willing to answer: 1. Isn't the Elektra basicly the same as the Luna2 with the Modular2? I see no differences in capabilities, only in price. 2. When I ...
