Re: MIDI loopback devices in Scope?
exactly like gary said. loopback devices are needed in windows since windows does not have an OS native midi routing. Scope and there in the routing window there are 2 types of midi source and dest: The HW midi I/Os of scope: Midi source and dest The SW midi I/Os of scoep: sequencer source and dest...

MIDI loopback devices in Scope?
Hail, fellow citizens of the Earth.
Do the inputs and outputs of MIDI loopback devices show up in Scope? I'm thinking LoopBe and Hubi's loopback device.
Thankyou!

Re: Xor doesn't work - any help please?
Thanks to Assaf, I've solved it!
Basically, installing Xor overwrites some dsp files so reinstalling Scope over the top cured the ailment.

Xor doesn't work - any help please? (solved)
Hi, I'm using an Xite-1 and Scope V.5. I bought Xor and Flexor yesterday and managed to get it installed. Flexor works (and sounds) great but I'm not having any luck with Xor :( I'm using a straight simple project setup with the outputs from Xor going into the Scope mixer (STM 1632 X) - midi input c...

Re: I would like to make an announcement.....
Thanks again, Gary.
I didn't want to buy Flexor if it wasn't compatible. The Modular system in Scope is one of the main reasons I bought the Xite-1 so I'd be pretty upset if it didn't work - actually, I'd go postal

Re: I would like to make an announcement.....
Yes, I'm still trying to get my head around it :) I have a couple more questions! 1) Is Adern Flexor compatible with Scope 5? 2) Can I have more than one MIDI IN 'port' from the sequencer in Scope? I would like to have 16 channels for controlling synths and another 16 for Mixer/effect automation. Th...

Re: I would like to make an announcement.....
Wow, thanks!! That's wonderful. With that trick it would be possible to send the MIDI back to the sequencer to control parameters of native plugins
Thanks NTN!

Re: I would like to make an announcement.....
Thanks for the tips, Gary. Thanks, a stereo out of Scope to a stereo track in the daw seems like the most straightforward way. I'll give it a go. I learned about the ASIO output assignment last night as I was messing about with Live. I changed the output config, changed the latency, etc and Live los...

Re: I would like to make an announcement.....
Well, I had great first impressions so far. I just need to get used to the new workflow and the loss of 'integration' between plugins and daw - although the new XTC mode should help there (if I decide to use it, I haven't tried it yet). I think the general idea of treating Scope and it's plugins as ...

Re: Mac advantages?
I wish there was more support for audio under linux as well. Scope coupled with Ardour (with MIDI support) would be awesome. Reaper for PC running under WINE runs quite well under linux - along with many PC plugins (winevst). As far as the average musician goes - I think your choice of platform (Mac...

Re: Sound manipulator
I thought that Kyma can do pretty much anything with audio - including the visual sonogram style editing. I could be wrong. Anyway, to have that type of 'visual' control would be great in Scope, I reckon.

Re: Xite-1 on Gigabyte X58 motherboard
For any of the rich fanboys...........http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/default.php?cPath=28_42 They're rackmounted too for those Guinnea Pigs. Having this ridiculous speed is very tempting, but with our soundcards already encased in 1U cases I am paranoid about leaks from movement. But their f...
