Re: Computer Freezes - What to do? experience of this?

Greetings; The advice in the previous post worked for me when i was getting seemingly random freezes on a system built on an Intel 945G chipset.

If i recall right, i had the S-C midi filter placed right after the module representing the S-C cards midi input. As stated, active sensing has to be ...

Interesting Setup & A Setting Problem

Greetings; Like every other gearhead in Toronto, i went to the Long&McQuade attic sale last weekend, and i lucked out on a bunch of stuff.

One of the things I was hoping to grab was another adat front-end for use with my S-C cards. Based on the (what proved to be incorrect) advice of a sales guy, I ...

Re: no joy using motu 2408mkII as SC (adat) front-end

Greetings; Thanks for the the tips...

I have a hunch that you're right, that i need to connect my 2408mkii to the Motu PCI card, and use the related software to reset the routings to get what i want (i used to have one of those lovely RME A/D/A's which worked perfectly as a front-end for SC cards ...

no joy using motu 2408mkII as SC (adat) front-end

Greetings; Just picked up a MOTU 2408 MkII that I hoped to use as a front-end; outboard gear hooked up to the 2408MkII's analog inputs, then run into a Sonic Core card via Adat (lightpipe).

There was no manual with the MkII so I'm trying to wing this; can anyone tell me the proper settings for such ...

Hmmm...i don't want to put this in as a bug report if it's just me. Can anyone say that midi clock is working ok in v5?

Scope v5 Midi Clock

Greetings All; Is it just my setup, or is there a general problem in terms of Scope 5 devices not receiving midi clock from Cubase (still on SX3)?

I'm using the same settings that i had in Scope v4 but when i set the clock source on any Scope synth to "External" the synth BPM setting shoots up to ...

Re: connecting scope to cubase

Are you committed to using a Scope mixer for your setup? I use my Cubase mixer due to the fact that i rely mostly on UAD and other VST fx/dynamics plugins....

My Scope setup has an Asio destination module w/ 32 channels, and into these channels go my Scope synths plus ADAT and analog front-end ...

Found Vorb DSP file needed for Scope v5

Greetings; Just installed v5 this week, and the only snag was a missing DSP file for Vorb.

The error msg called for OBXVORB, and by process of date checking my v4.5 DSP folder contents, i figured out that VORB in fact needs MZBPMN16.dsp.

I remember unOXEing VORB during a v4.5 installation a ...

Re: 2 - PLUSAR II ON EBAY VERSION 5

Does anyone want to split this pair of cards with me? I'm in Canada, and i would be happy to have a new P2. I would also be happy to ship overseas.

If someone goes for such a deal, i would use the P2 to replace my Luna (3 DSP).

This EBay listing runs out soon (around 1 am July 2 EST), so ...

Re: UAD-1 PCI with LA2A & 1176LN

FYI UA has been blowing out UAD-1s...last week i picked up a pair of UAD-1e's for CDN$129 each (approx 80 euro each), and both cards included a CDN$100 plugin voucher.
