ASIO Scope working fine under Cubase 5.1 R1 and Windows XP Pro. I assume the Asio Scope driver you are reffering to is the one located in Cubase under options/audio setup/system... Audio I/O ASIO DEVICE " ASIO SCOPE ".
Is it just under Cubase or do you have this problem with other programmes, can ...

valis - In order to have access to dual cpu use by your operating system and programs you either install your HAL in ACPI or MPS MultiProcessorPC. Standard PC Install will make your 2nd CPU Redundant and the machine will operate as if it were a single cpu system.

sub - Theres no need to get upset ...

Too make things even more confusing........

Pulsar V3 seems to work reliable with ACPI on Windows XP Pro with dual cpu's ( in my case PIII 1 gig cpus )but your PROCESSOR bus-speed has to run at 100Mhz and not at 133Mhz which my 1Ghz and the majority of Coppermine Run at. Im running my cpu(s) and ...

I'm a musician but since having my Pulsar Card it has turned me from musician to technician.

Subhuman - So a Supermicro P4DC6 (i860 chipset) and 2 Pentium Xeons 1.7Ghz should do the trick!? I will get no hassle from the Creamware Pulsar V3/3.01 software under XP Pro eh??
No more annoying Copy protection violation messages, no more freezing and hard crashing whilst using Cubase with the ...

Didnt Subhuman say the only dual cpu system working was the P4 Xeon 1.7 Dual or something like that, I doubt it very much though!! To my knowledge no dual cpu machine is even 60-70% working with Pulsar 1 or 2.
At the end of the day Creamware are just pissing on their users. They know about this ...

So it seems Nightmare.. oops sorry Creamware still have not sorted the dual cpu problem then. Typical Amateurs.
atomic and Oscillation you've got a point, why spend a $$fortune$$ on unreliable Creamware products when you could buy an extra CPU and a ton of soft synths etc.. guaranteed to do what it ...

Yes just as i predicted, i've gone through all the pain you are experiencing. At the end of the day it's Creamwares fault with there dodgy drivers. Maybe if we all bombard Creamware support for fully compliant drivers for dual cpu machines they may be forced to act on it!
I'm still awaiting a reply ...

Basically you didnt get this problem with only 1 Pulsar Card in the machine right?
Problem only occured when you added the 2nd Pulsar Card to the MPS system.

All i can suggest is to install Windows 2k/SP2 again in ACPI MPS Mode, with only the Pulsar Cards and V3 software, see if all goes well ...

Sorry to break it to ya, but the Pulsar wont work on a dual cpu machine!!
I had the same problems with Win 2k/SP2, on a dual Gigabyte board. If you dont use XTC mode you should be able to use the Pulsar on Windows XP Pro, although i should add it wont be 100% reliable, more like 70%.
If you do use ...

Thats a strange one indeed!
I used a Roland JX305 keyboard as master keyboard for my Pulsar 2 and it never gave me no problems. I assume you are going straight out of the JX305 and into the Pulsar, should work no problem. Do you have any other MIDI Devices if so try going to the pulsar Midi In from ...
