Re: John Bowen presents Solaris in Munich, Oct. 2010 video
Jupiter 8 Matrix 12 Prophet VS Waldorf Wave Andromeda A6 Hartmann Neuron ... ... Solaris I enjoyed listening to the wavetable en vector stuff. I have a lot of different types of hardware synths (not from the list above btw, except for the Andromeda) like analogue mono, analogue poly, FM, virtual ana...

Re: Modular 4 still in beta?
Happy to say along with 64bit XITE-1, Modular IV has now fixed these modules too. You should contact support if you have Mod IV. For a live performer the Tape Delays are worth the price of Modular IV. No zippers in realtime, and I can even use a slow LFO to emulate a 2 1/2" Tape Reel deck bein...

Re: "Glitch" options in Sonic Core?
You can build your own glitch device in Scope using Wolf's audio switchers together with all the fx which are available in Scope. You can MIDI control the switch and control it from your sequencer. It is a bit more work to set up but you end up with something new every time. http://wolf-audio.com/wa...

Modular 4 still in beta?
On the Sonic Core site the Modular 4 is still listed as beta (http://www.sonic-core.net/en/home/modular4.html), Is this a typo?

Re: Old projects not loaded in Scope 5 - clumsily worked around
I had some problems loading 4.5 projects (which contained a meterbridge) in Scope 5. I sent the request string to Sonic Core and they sent me an activation Key. Now the projects load fine. I also renamed my old Scope 4.5 installation directory and I had to recreate my external devices in Scope 5. Al...

Re: How big is your “C” drive?
My DAW "c" drive is 10GB (1.5GB free), it contains no sample libraries, only music software. You can install a lot of music software on a 10GB partition. All libraries and sample data are installed on my 400GB data drive. I have disabled the network of my DAW partition so I did not install...

Re: PCI latency
This is an interesting read: http://www.rainrecording.com/pro/software/adjusting-pci-latency/ I use a program called "PCI Latency Tool" to tweak the pci latency of my system which gives me a little more "room" before the PCI overload message kicks in. I did not make any scientifi...

Re: Screen free DAW use.
Maybe this will do the trick http://www.jockersoft.com/english/startupdelayer_index.php . I have not used it myself though. You also have to put Bidule in your startup folder in the Windows start menu and tell Startupdelayer to wait for a couple of seconds before launching Bidule. This is all in the...

Re: Psycho acoustic drone in Modular
Nice :) I have my Scope (PCI) system for 9 months now and I am slowly starting to build modular patches (also with Flexor 3 and Wolf's MIDI toolbox modules). I really like this "virtual" modular stuff. I also have a Nord Micro Modular and a Nord Modular G2 and it feels like one big modular...

When I use the octave switch and then press a piano key two note on messages are send but only one note off message, resulting in hanging notes. See image. Anyone else have this problem?
