That's right.
And: It's the same in Scope 5.x
Top notch drivers. Don't know what these guys at Sonic Core are doing.

Scope 5 under User Account
Didn't try Scope 5 yet.
One question: Does it run properly under limited User Accounts (no write access to program folder, settings and preset stuff all saved in user folder)?
Would be cool for our studio to have dedicated accounts for each engineer ...

Re: Headphones for Mixing...
IMO one of the best headphones due to its robustness.valis wrote:Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO ($259.00) - 250ohm, open backed, non-detachable cable. Would fill the Audiophile casual listening role fine, not for tracking etc obviously.
Personally I hate AKGs. They feel so loose and sloppy on ones head.

Re: Scope 4.0 Wave driver + Wave Source module questions
It's a setting that no longer applies, hence why it's greyed out. I do believe this is mentioned somewhere in the manual or documentation (legacy feature)
That's what I wanted to know. Thanks! One could think the card is running at 16bit without the possibility to change it when looking at this ...

Re: Scope 4.0 Wave driver + Wave Source module questions
no, you can't set bit depth in windows.
Go to the device manager -> Pulsar2 (or whatever) -> properties => now there you should see what I mean. It's even explained in the manual. Why is this setting "greyed out" so that you can't set the bitdepth? Why is it displayed if there's no use for it ...

Scope 4.0 Wave driver + Wave Source module questions
Is it correct that you can't set the prefered bit depth for the wave driver in the device manager on Windows XP? Here the setting is "greyed out" and "16bit" is selected. I guess it's because of WDM drivers which do all this stuff behind the scenes? But are the Scope drivers WDM drivers? I'm not ...

Are these issues also all found in the STM4896 mixer in the 4.5 software?

Re: Another STM2448 Bug in 4.0 (fixed in 4.5?)
I just wanted to be sure before I write to the SC support. So this bug is still there in 4.5?

Another STM2448 Bug in 4.0 (fixed in 4.5?)
In Scope 4.0 STM2448:
-> set the Studio Outputs to "Monitor" on the Talkback page
-> save project
-> re-open project
=> Outputs set back to "Mix"!?
Is this fixed in Scope 4.5?

Re: STM2448 Stereochannels get switched on the monitor send!?
Of course. But then you need to pan mono tracks reversed. And that's quite irritating.voidar wrote:If you hook the EX out up in reverse your image will be correct.
