greetings all...

my luna's giving me shit... every once in a while upon booting up my computer i get an error message saying it can't "get the handle of the card", then another one pops up saying "can't start scope without hardware"... the only way i can fix this is by taking the card out ...

what's up pulsar peoples...

i recently got a luna II with a breakout box...

yesterday i did a (side-by-side) test using both the analog outs and the breakoutbox outs going straight to my monitors with brand new cords... (stereo 1/4" --> mono 1/4" .......... rca --> 1/4")

what i found is that the ...

sounddiver doesn't give you that option, i don't think...

i couldn't get it to work in logic either, but it's all good... it was just easier to install it with something i knew worked (sounddiver/sblive).

i think it might have something to do with the huge size of the midi file that it was transferring -- it was doing fine until about 40% of the way thru the transfer

well... i reloaded the midi drivers, opened sounddiver, started the OS transfer, and it still was giving me checksum errors, stalled transmissions, and frozen windows...

so i installed my SBlive drivers once again and lo-and-behold, it worked fine.

i guess this is one to write to creamware tech ...

about deleting and adding the module... shouldn't it newest one already be in the project? which driver is being loaded up by the default project that i've been basing all my other ...

i was just trying to update the OS in my virus b last night, using sounddiver and my luna, and it was giving me a hell of a time... losing sync... incomplete buffers... it f*%ked with me for 2+ hours.

good thing i didn't get rid of my SBlive yet!

will this same flaw be a problem when recording ...

the answer to A is yes...

i just installed my luna II yesterday and there were no conflicts...

i'm running the low latency drivers (http://come.to/sblive), but will probably switch back, as the luna's midi capabilities will crush that of the sblive's.

as for question B, you'll probably need to ...

let me ask a theoretical question to y'all out there in creamland...

let's say i had a pulsar II, and wanted to outfit another computer with 2 lunas... could i just install the pulsar OS on that computer and use it with the 2 lunas as well?... or ...

i forgot to mention that i intend on sequencing all of this with logic or cubase...
