Try to decrease the value until you get no errors.
My courrent value is 180
I have a doubt about the final "s" on "maxpcchannels", sorry, I'll post later if wrong. Anyway you could try both with low value like 100.

To solve that problem, (I had the same) U need to add in the file CSET.INI and entry like:

[PCI]
maxpcichannel=200

If you take a look into the manual, and search for your error message in the troubleshooting section, you find the solution.

OK, but if the software WARNING me if I'm saving an overloaded project, that would be much appreciate!

The fact should be reported years ago, but I'm only 2 months that using Pulsar II, and these is another appreciate think to add a warning tho the Software!

In the version 3.01 i'm not able to add a Pulsar II midi B source or dest.

In the version 3.0 that was possible!!!

Backup project had the same problem!

I could save projects that cant open after!

Please try:
1) Overload the project by load some devices (easy by one or two synt with only 4-5 voices)

2) When you go over 100% dsp load, save the project.

3) Try to open the project that U had save.

Surprise!!! U can create projects that U are not ...

I need to change the IRQ of PulsarII, but win2000 can't permit that (probably because there aren't conflict).

I will install the V3 on windows 2000, but if possible, I need some impressions about how it work on W2K.

I had try V3 on Win Me and I experience a lot of crash (e.g. only adding a synt to a project)!

I had look around... Do U remember 3DFX???
That is an example of bad implementation and support, with good hardware (at least the first two card).
Now where is 3DFX? Acquired from NVidia!

If creamware persist to work in this way, his destiny could be like 3DFX!

The policy of creamware (at my opinion) is:
get the money by selling the card and then developing a stable software (after many upgrades)

I had an bad experience with the Pulsar XCT (changed with Pulsar II)
