Cubase or Scope hangs in XTC mode, audio repeating in a loop
Im just trying out XTC mode but are having problems. Everything works great (and sounds great!) but then all of a sudden the audio from Scope ASIO hangs and starts repeating (like a modern version of a vinyl player getting stuck) Any idea what could cause this? I mean everything seems to go just fin...

Re: BPM synced delays does not sync using latency below 25ms 44k
If you can't deal with it by making manual adjustments - Use SpaceF's delays. They're very reasonably priced, so I don't think it's right to say there isn't a fix when SpaceF just explained to you that there IS a fix. Hello! Yes true that is, but its a solution that costs money, and for the moment ...

Re: BPM synced delays does not sync using latency below 25ms 44k
It is a known bug...unfortunately. You can use a beat calculatir that gives you ms values and select the delays as time values. http://www.bassline.com/software/freequency/ or http://www.analogx.com/CONTENTS/download/audio/delay.htm I tried setting the delay times manually in ms, but i get the same...

Re: BPM synced delays does not sync using latency below 25ms 44k
I just think a bug like this should be very easy to fix. Its just very basic mathematic calculations to be redone? It cant be that it CANT be fixed, its just that they have not tried right? Is it something that has been introduced with latest Scope version (4.0) or did it exist in 3.0 also?

BPM synced delays does not sync using latency below 25ms 44k
This is my third post in this part of the forum, and hopefully my last. When i choose a quicker latency setting then the slowest (25ms 44khz) the BPM function on the delay effects does not work properly any more. Let me show you, here using a delay synced to 1/2, the notes hits exactly the same beat...

ASIO Src & Dest in project, but no Scope ASIO in Cubase? :-[
Fellow old pulsarians and people of the scope, i have almost finished the completion of rebuilding my homestudio around my !SUPERGLUED! Scope Project as a asio & hardware mixer and effect unit. The latest obstacle in my way is that even though i drag ASIO source & dest modules into my projec...

Re: Rebuilt my studio - Both of my soundcards seems dead
Hello.. Problem solved. It was just the case of me being an idiot. Just because i had superglued the card i never bothered to check close how good it was connected. Since it was superglued, no need right? Well the problem was just that the Creamware card had popped out, a little push back and proble...

Re: Rebuilt my studio - Both of my soundcards seems dead
So what would be the reason a reseating of the card is needed? I havent moved anything in the computer during the rebuild of my studio, and when i noticed the problem i opened up to check that both cards were firmly inserted into PCI slots as they were also.. So my motherboard only has two PCI slots...

Re: Rebuilt my studio - Both of my soundcards seems dead
A reseating is a little tricky as my creamware card is !!SUPERGLUED!! unto the chassi.. Im actually not an idiot (perhaps a small one), but the card fitted so horribly bad so the only way to make sure it would not be able to pop out from the PCI connectors was to force it to the chassi by superglue....

Rebuilt my studio - Both of my soundcards seems dead
I have Emu 1820M as well as Creamware Scope. During two days i have rebuilt my studio, cleaned up the cablemess and installed two Ensoniq DP2 & DP4 effects with balanced cables to each soundcard. I also used "electronic airspray" to clean the backside of my computer as well as the conn...

Expansion board without PCI?
Hello! I have a 6-dsp Scope card wich i enjoy, but i run out of DSP juice to fast. On my motherboard i dont have any more free PCI slots... So i thought, if the DSP expansion boards only uses the PCI slot for power (because its connected to the master scope card by an cable). Is it then possible to ...

Re: Cant open a project file - scope always load the default
Yeah but even if i have SCOPE running, i still cant open a project file from Windows because it still loads the default.wayne wrote:Afaik you can't open a scope project unless scope software is running. This is normal scope behaviour.

Re: Cant open a project file - scope always load the default
No i dont want it to load every time, i simply want Scope to work as any other software, that is, when you open a file by double clicking it the program opens it. For example, if i double click a cubase project file - cubase opens it. It does not open the default project file. If i simply click Cuba...

Re: 1632 mixer - Mute button vs green Mix button??
Brotha' Man Mantrix, SpaceF delays are awesome, what do you mean by analog though? Is the tail that fades away while getting grungy what you mean, I am, not sure. And I would hook up the TCElec. verb w/ the SP/DIF's to Scope, not the EMU. If you are using their great sampler software for adding eff...

Re: 1632 mixer - Mute button vs green Mix button??
The outboard gear i will be using is Yamaha An1X, Clavia Nord Rack 2, Clavia G2 Engine. External effects, yes, i am going to get me an outboard reverb processor like TC M-one and hook it up to Emu 1820 by SPDIF and then send it to SCOPE via ADAT. So i mean, if these devices work as they should - how...

Re: 1632 mixer - Mute button vs green Mix button??
No nasty bugs IMO, but remember to switch the phase compensation button if you want to preserve the phase between the tracks. This eats a little dsp. If you want to control the phase track by track, do not push that button and load the free device "phase fix" as insert in the channels you...

Re: Cant open a project file - scope always load the default
I tried that but i could not find anything out of the ordinary. Actually after installing Scope the .pro files was not associated with any program, and then i simply used "open with" in windows xp and browsed to the SFP.exe in the App/Bin folder. Was this not the right way? And as i said, ...

Re: 1632 mixer - Mute button vs green Mix button??
Ok, thanks for the answers. Here is the second question, is there something i should know about this mixer (1632) before i start building my whole setup around it (connected via ADAT).
Any nasty bugs?
