Re: Prodyssey Patch Switching Issue

Geez I would love an original one, but I just wouldn't use it live as my only synth like Im trying to do with this one.

Thats a good idea about the intermediate silenced preset. Ill try it out. Thanks for the help!

Re: Prodyssey Patch Switching Issue

The switching presets is only an issue bc it sends a pretty loud signal through the outputs
(usually a chord when switching to a poly patch) which makes it unusable if you want to switch quickly between sounds in a song. I have found though that if you wait about 20 sec before switching over it won ...

Re: Prodyssey Patch Switching Issue

What a shame. Thats what I figured was causing it. All these bugs make it really hard to use it in a live situation. Maybe its time to bring a laptop and switch over to the Gforce soft synths.

Prodyssey Patch Switching Issue

I've noticed that some of the patches make noise (sound) when you switch between them. Is there a way to setup the ones that make noise to not do that? What's causing this?

Thanks!

Re: Minimax Tuning Stability Problem

We are using a M-Audio Oxygen 8. All we do, is use it to play the synth. We don't use any of the knobs, sliders, or buttons, except to change the octave. We are also not using patches on the controller, bc we switch patches on the minimax itself. The key change occurs while we are in the middle of ...

Re: Minimax Tuning Stability Problem

oh.
so what you are saying is that while the patch is loaded and in use, the sample rate could be switching, causing the thing to detune on the fly? so maybe i should try reloading the firmware? would that help? thanks.

Re: Minimax Tuning Stability Problem

I dont believe sample rate has anything to do with it on these synths. (could be mistaken though) Thanks.

Minimax Tuning Stability Problem

I'm having trouble keeping the Minimax in tune. Randomly the unit will drop its tuning evenly on all keys. (Usually while I'm performing on stage!) I believe it goes down a 1/2 step. Anybody have any suggestions? It is updated to the latest firmware. Thanks!

Yeah I was hoping that they might fit some standard rack ears. If not, then I will have to go that route. Thanks.

Rack ears for ASB modules?

Does anyone no where I can get rack ears that that will fit the asb modules? (I'm assuming you have to remove the wood side rails first.) I have a Pro 12 and Prodyssey. Thanks!

Question about saving volume levels to user presets....

I know it says in the manual that master volumes can't be saved to user presets. Is there a way to work around this? When I switch patches in the middle of a song, I'd like to be able to match the levels. Please help. Thanks!
