Is ever possible that to update a stupid software we should be COMPUTERS ENGINEERS?????????????

After 2 years waiting is clear to me that this software is still IMMATURE

f..ck!!!!

A message appeared telling me that "the hardware is type 16, needed a software update", or something similar (??????????)

Can somebady give advice?

Thank everybody for trying help me.

Some additional infos:

- latency setted at maximum possible @ 44.1 khz (the problem is not latency)
- NO PROBLEM ANYMORE if wavelab works with ASIO (!!)

Hi,

I have some sumors (crackels) during recording an play of Wavelab 6 (official version) and Windows Media Player as well

I have Scope 4.5, tested several option like wave source - waw source 24 bit etc, w/o solving the problem.

Maybe somebod can help me?

I use ASIO 24 bit

What should ASIO2 should be used for? What is the difference?

I do agree with Firubby;

undubtely better sound or better...

a better "sound quality transfer" between the board and Cubase, I think it is ASIO !!

These boards sound for me pretty fine.

I enter in my Scope with an RME converter but when recorded in Cubase, the marvellous sound monitored from the ...

Scope 4.5 users should merit the avalaibility of an upgraded software and drivers, after years of unavalaible upgrades, I guess.

regardless of "who's right and who's wrong" between Steinb and Sonicc the reality says that us (the customers!!) have problems and are unsatisfied, wasting time around tech probles that other should satisfy, delivering full effective goods (!!)

Hi,

I got the latest version of Cubase 4.1 and loading it, I have an error regarding SSE loading; the program crashes w/o possibility to open it;
this obviously with SFP 4.5 open

If I start instead before Cubase and AFTER Scope 4.5 the error does not appear but it is almost unpossible communicate ...
