Re: Sibelius and Scope
Hi soren_jepsen, What version of Sib are you using? I've tried for many years to try and get Sib and Scope to work together. I gave up and started to use Notion3. I do prefer Sib and would return to it if I could get it working. Many thanks, CGF I managed to run Sibelius 6 and Scope 5.1 running tog...

Re: Sibelius and Scope
one last try: once you successfully opened Sibelius you must change the driver to asio4all. At least that´s how it worked in my case

Re: Sibelius and Scope
Have you tried inserting 2 wave sources and chossing the 2nd for asio4all. The first is often occupied by the OS

Re: Sibelius and Scope
It´s much easier to use Asio4all. It uses the Scope Wave Driver, gives you low latencies and WORKS with scope.

Re: Is XTC working in 64-bit?
I wrote to the SC-Support. Their answer:
No, it´s not possible to run XTC-mode in 64-bit hosts and they can´t tell when.
...boohooo.
I´ll have to wait

Ankyu Jimmy
I´ll try my luck there.
BTW: I came a long way over Cubase, Logic, Ableton and Samplitude and finally landed at Reaper. Rock-solid, ultra versatile, slim and fast. Great!

Is XTC working in 64-bit?
I´ve been away for a while and thinking about switching back.
Has anyone experiences with this configuration:
Win 7 64-bit
Reaper 64-bit
Scope 5.1
XTC-mode
or is anyone running XTC/VSTiM in an 64-bit host?
Thanks in advance!

Re: asio buffer size help
The buffer settings are responsible for the lateny. The lower the latency , the lower are the buffer settings and vice versa. You can only change these settings in Scope, via ULLI settings, not in the host.

Re: Asio4all in Scope?
Asio4all takes your wave-drivers and emeulates them as asio in/outputs.
If you want to get more in/outputs, you´ll have to add some wave-sources and wave-destinations in your scope projects. Maybe you´ll have to reboot.
The asio modules in your scope-project don´t matter at all

Re: Weird problems - thinking of doing a rollback SOLVED
So just to let you know: I think i solved the problem by removing one of my three cards. Now i´m running just 12 DSPs, but everything works fine. So i think it was a coincidence that this hardware-problem appeared when updating to v5. What i don´t know by now is: Is the card broken or was it just th...

Re: Weird problems - thinking of doing a rollback
Another observation: In my default project i am using the 4 midi merger. When i insert the lightwave v5 i won´t get no sound, no matter if it´s connected to the merger or the midi in. But the midi - light flashes. So if i delete the merger and put in the lightwave it works :-? At a certain point som...

Re: Weird problems - thinking of doing a rollback
well, i can´t say for sure.
But it´s independant of how long i have been running the system. It appears also at the start.
But i think i´ll try the 4.5 . I have parked it by renaming the folder, so it should be easy to manage.
That would be a way to make sure that the problem is not hardware related.

Re: Weird problems - thinking of doing a rollback
i forgot to mention: it is the second installation
But if there are others with a similar problem then it points to software bugs.
my other thought was maybe one of the sharcs is damaged and now it works or not, depending on the dsp placement....but i don´t know if it works like this

Re: Weird problems - thinking of doing a rollback
i don´t remember placing reverbs in the inserts. mainly comps or the SPL Transient-designer.
Also i had no freezes (poooh!!!). and synths won´t give a sound, sometimes connecting them to a different mixer channel helps, but sometimes not...

Re: Weird problems - thinking of doing a rollback
yes it is, also for me, as long as i just use the in and outs and the asio-channels. Most of the times the mixer works, but as soon as i start to use the fx´s things get complicated. Or, even worse, if i use XTC-mode, the songs ihave been using the xtc-plug-ins in won´t open. So i am using it at a v...

Weird problems - thinking of doing a rollback SOLVED
Since i´m running Scope 5 i encounter a strange mixture of problems. Inserting for example B-2003 won´t let me play, changing the device to let´s say Blue-Synth works, then the compressors work one time, but won´t when reopening the project. Or, and that´s most strange, some of the channels at the 1...
