Re: Roland's new Keytar the AX-EDGE, WOW. Impressive!

When it comes to high-end Keytars Roland is the only game in town, and the AX-EDGE is the only one they sell. The Keytar market is hyper-niche with only 2 companies making them, with Roland being the high-end and Yamaha the mid-range. Roland has been the best at Keytars for a very long time and when...

Re: Reason 12 is almost here!

VST3 support in Reason is slated for JAN 2022. This is great news! I know that a Youtuber reviewing R12 said that VST3 support was comming for R12 but when i emailed tech support they gave me no timeline and only stated that VST3 was on their to-do-list. It's great to not only know that it's commin...

Re: SC at Superbooth 21 in Berlin, 15. - 18.09.2021

With Holger and Jurgen sharing a booth hopefully "the Band is getting back together". Even if it's only for one small project that's SCOPE related it would be nice to see them back together. I do believe they are stronger together. Anyways, it's great to see SC participate in a Music Gear ...

Re: Reason 12 is almost here!

I'll likely be upgrading within the next couple days since i need Hi-rez in order to efficiently use Reason as my DAW. I want tech-support to answer a few questions first even tho i'll be upgrading regardless of their answers, i just want to make sure i get the best upgrade path. I have the Suite ve...

RIP to 'The Rolling Stones' drummer

RIP to Charlie Watts who was the drummer for The Rolling Stones. He was 80 years old with children and grandchildren. He died i believe early this morning in a hospital in London surrounded by loved ones. He joined the Band in 1963 and the Band went on to bless us all with many hits like 'I can't ge...

Reason 12 is almost here!

I guess technically it is here for Subscription Users, but for the rest of us the delivery truck is on its way. This is a very huge upgrade for me since it is very hard to use Reason 11 due to my very poor Vision. The High-Rez Graphics justifies the upgrade price alone. The new Sampler is very nice ...

Re: Scope DSP/Xite in the modern market

The Market for Interface-DSP has only grown bigger and likely will continue to do so. Avid just released Carbon not that long ago wich is a interface and single unit DSP Platform. Both Avid and UA realized SCOPE and Metric Halo was on to something good with their dsp-interfsces. Interface-DSP is the...

Hopefully Windows 11 gets away from forced updates. But i have a feeling it will be even more intrusive and customer-unfriendly. Very dark and unprofessional path!

Re: TC Electronic 8210-DT Reverb Plugin, AMAZING!

I used their ancient Fireworx which had a simple Hall that sounded great, Everything TC is releasing now is 'ancient' like your Fireworx. But those old algorithms sound like royalty and it takes hardware and plugins from many companies to even compete with them in an arena IMO. TC knew how to defin...

Re: TC Electronic 8210-DT Reverb Plugin, AMAZING!

TC Electronic has ported their high-end System 6000 hardware to Native VST'S. I guess Uli who owns Behringer and TC is out to conquer the plugin world and set TC above all competitors. Now you can get MD4, VSS4, and Nonlinear 2 as VST plugins for a cheap price of $699 for the whole bundle. The ports...

Re: TC Electronic 8210-DT Reverb Plugin, AMAZING!

Yea, auto-tune and several other effects are pretty much instruments when played in realtime and DSP Platforms generally still best handle them. I think Protools TDM and Autotune both rode each other to glory. Many were upset when autotune was not coded to their newer HDX platform. I don't see how i...

Re: TC Electronic 8210-DT Reverb Plugin, AMAZING!

I think Autotune is a great effect when the tune is devised around its use, eg if the singer is good at using it realtime specifically for some electro genre. It just doesn't work on any vocal by just slapping it on there retrospectively (like reverb likely would). Sure, it's a tool thus like any o...

Re: TC Electronic 8210-DT Reverb Plugin, AMAZING!

Gotta love those days-of-old Chambers. I really love many of the old Doo-Wop songs from around the 1950's wich vocals were seriously drenched in Chambers or Plates, such as 'Little Anthony and the Imperials (Tears on my pillow)', The Cleftones (Heart and Soul), and some of 'The Platters' songs. The ...

TC Electronic 8210-DT Reverb Plugin, AMAZING!

TC Electronic has been releasing a bunch of Desktop Controlled plugins that is a brilliant concept. They are plugins sold with their own hardware controller at a low price. The hardware controller is basically free and you only pay for the plugin wich is same price as their ILOK counterparts. The DT...

Re: Installing SCOPE 7 on X64 O/S

i don't know about 3rd party, but it certainly applies to stock delays(which DO work in inserts or the multifx modules). Ok, thanks for the info! I'll test later to see if the bug also applies to third-party and modular delays. Hopefully that knowledge won't cost me too much :) .. @Bud Weiser, much...

He first got cancer 20 years ago so it seems he put up a really good fight! Unfortunately that type of disease is very persistant sometimes. 65 years old is too young. He was part of a great era of music and he definitly made his mark!

Re: Installing SCOPE 7 on X64 O/S

Ok, got it! Modular 4 files found.

Is the delay plugins bug that leads to crashes something that applies to ALL delays including third-party and modular or does it only applies to stock delays? Don't wanna use Multifx in unnecessary situations if such exist.
